The Coming Kingdom of the Messiah

Book of Isaiah Chapter 65

There are great things that await all those who have trusted in the Lord by "faith"!

Isa 64:4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

Here again we see our Father in Heaven speaking to His Dear Son and names Him God, (Elohim, which means the true God, the Messiah)

The power of salvation can come only through the Triune God! (Triune meaning three in one, the unity of the Godhead) (God in three persons, not three Gods)

There are other places where the Father speaks to His Son in these terms and the most well-known is in the Book of Hebrews:

Heb_1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

If our Father in Heaven can call His Son, God (Elohim) then I do not see why this world has such a great problem in believing that the Lord Jesus Christ, "the true Messiah", is also God!

This simplifies what our Father is saying and He is saying that it is only the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ who has seen what is prepared for those who trust in the truth of the Word of God.

One of the greatest statements of the Lord Jesus Christ is: "let not your heart be troubled". (Why would we ever worry)

Why is this so true?

Joh 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Joh 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Joh 14:4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Everything in Heaven and everything in the New Heaven, is the work of the hands of Christ, (Elohim)!

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Col 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

Col 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

When Paul wrote to the Corinthians, he did not try to change this in any way.

1Co 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

1Co 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

All things of the Godhead are done in the power of the Holy Spirit.

It is the Holy Spirit that abides within every Christian by which we can know that these things of Christ are true!

The New Earth, will not be a place that we reside at this time, and God says there will be a New Heaven. To believe the Word of God is to believe these things also!

The Holy Spirit does not reveal to us the wonders of Heaven but He does reveal to us how wondrous and how marvelous Heaven will be!

As we continue in the Book of Isaiah, we will see more of the transition of this earth during the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ our Lord for 1000 years upon this earth, when it will be restored much like the Garden of Eden in the days of Adam, before sin entered this world.

It is only the Apostle John, again by the Holy Spirit, that gives us a glimpse of Heaven.

There will never be anything that resembles Heaven anywhere upon this earth except in the heart of the true believer where seeing is not required!

It is important to realize that as the redeemed of the Lord, we are still waiting for the Lord to claim His purchased possession!

Eph_1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Isaiah is still writing to the Jews about a future that has not yet come but the Church is to also take note of what is said.

All the Word of God is important for us to understand!

We must remember God's great acts of compassion and mercy in behalf of the tiny nation of Israel, prove He will execute "judgment" but also that God will redeem His purchased possession!

Read, as God confronts all those still alive near the end of the "time of Jacob's trouble".

Isa 65:14 Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.

Isa 65:15 And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:

Isa 65:16 That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

Those that remain on earth will be blessed only because they have accepted the truth of God!

Those that make an oath on earth, have made an oath of obedience to the truth of God!

Note: This is the same thing our founding Fathers did to begin this great nation!

Those former troubles are the sins of this people because will have clean them up because they have repented!

Eze 36:24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

Eze 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Eze 36:28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

There will be so much destruction during the 7-year Tribulation Period it will be only by the hand of God that this earth can be made livable again!

These following Scriptures describe our world during the Millennial Reign of Christ upon this place we call earth.

*****Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

John Wesley wrote of this Scripture, that God would bring a new face upon this world, which would abide until the New Heaven and New Earth appeared.

Scofield wrote that this Scripture looks beyond the Kingdom Age but the following Scriptures describe the Kingdom Age.

The Earth and heavens during the Kingdom Age cannot be the New Heaven and New Earth that God will create because Satan will only be bound for 1000 years and then released for a moment in time.

There could be nothing truly new in a world where Satan exists!

These things will describe this world following the 7-year Tribulation Period.

These things will describe the promise given to King David and the days King Jesus Christ will rule upon this earth!

Psa 2:6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

Psa 2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Psa 2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Psa 2:9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

Psa 24:7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Psa 24:8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

Psa 24:9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Psa 24:10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

Isa 24:23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

Dan 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

Dan 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

When the entire Church is with the Lord in the New Heaven and the New Earth, nothing about the former earth and former Heaven will be remembered!

Nothing about this world we live in will come to mind!

The entire existing state of all things will pass away and God will make all things new!

God says we can be glad now, because we will live throughout eternity in a place that has never known sin, never contained a bad memory, and only knows of things of joy!

Joy can be said to be the expectation of good and that expectation fulfilled to the uttermost!

1Pe_4:13 But rejoice, because ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

Joh_15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

*****Isa 65:18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

God says to rejoice knowing the things that He has planned to do!

The Holy City of Jerusalem will be made the Capitol city of this world and it will be the place of the throne of God!

Jerusalem will become a delight and it will be a great joy just to be a part of this place.

Psa 96:10 Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

Psa 96:11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.

Psa 96:12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

Psa 96:13 Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

All the people of the world at that time will be the people of God!

All the people of that day will have trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior, except those who will be born of these families!

And most important of all, the Lord will rejoice with His people!

*****Isa 65:19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

We have not known "joy" until we can actually see the "joy" on the face of our Lord.

At the end of the "Church Age" when the Lord has called the Church out we will certainly know the joy of the Lord!

During the Tribulation Period only those who will turn to the Lord know the joy of peace in their heart but not much joy in those 7 years.

During the Millennial Reign of the Lord Jesus Christ this world will know joy and see it also in the face of the Lord!

Eph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

***Eph 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

There will be no one weeping because sorrow will not be found anywhere.

There will be no one crying out in pain because no one will suffer pain.

Without these things filling our ears, we can concentrate on the Beauty of the Lord and "the joy" of Garden of this World!

To the Jew, they will finally realize everything that God has done was to bring them to this point of endless joy!

It will be my most fantastic time when I see the Lord, face to face but then to see Him smile will make it even greater. (Now think on this for a moment)

Mat_25:23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Why would we not be filled with joy at all the creations of God, which have all been for our own purpose!

*****Isa 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

There will be such a change during the Millennial Reign of Christ on this earth that all infections and diseases that have shortened the life span of humans will no longer exist!

Today in this world on average, there are near 50 infant deaths in the first year per 1000 births.

There are an estimated 41 million abortions done each year.

When the Lord is on this earth none of these things will exist!

We need to be clear! The Church will return with Christ but none of the Church will be involved with having children.

Mar_12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

The only ones who can bear children are those who have survived the 7 years of Tribulation without dying!

Today the youth of our world have been so misled by evil men and seducers that most do not contribute to improving our societies in fact, many today make no contribution to anything at all.

In comparison, it is a fact that most of the leaders of the American Revolution were under 40 years old.

Most of the improvements in Europe throughout history were accomplished by those under 40 years old.

The best our youth can do today is to listen to people so radical in their thought process that nothing in this world is important enough to believe in or to defend!

In the day, the Lord sits on His throne in Jerusalem there may even be one who will break the record of Methuselah at 969 years.

You see God will begin to restrict the power of death even in the time of the Millennial Kingdom!

True life will begin to become a reality and not just something we have to bear as a life full of burdens.

There will be no weaknesses in our youth in that day!

There will be no weaknesses at any age during the Millennial Reign of Christ.

If someone dies even at 100 years old it will be as if they were robbed of their youth!

The old men will fulfill their days as in the days Moses and Abraham!

Even in that day, these that are living and able to produce children will still have sin in their hearts because perfection cannot come until this period of 1000 years will end!

Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

During these 1000 years, life will flourish as God intended for Adam and Eve!

Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Death will also exist, because it is only for the Christian that "death is swallowed up in victory"!

And it is only after Satan is released for what may not be no more than one day that death will end and even Hell will be tossed into the Burning Lake of Fire which happens at the White Throne Judgment!

Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Rev_20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Eternal life for all God's children will begin at that time and then we will see the New Heaven and the New Jerusalem and all the New things of God!

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

I cannot know all things but the Word of God will always make sense and we must separate the time of the Millennial Kingdom for the life of eternity that follows.

1) The Church will be called out.

2) The 7 years of Tribulation will begin.

3) The Lord Jesus will rule on this earth for 1000 years and make this world as the days of Adam and Eve

4) The White Throne Judgment All the ages will end and this earth will burn forever and then Eternity will begin in the Newly Created Heaven and the Newly Created Jerusalem.

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Don't you just love the Word of God!

Now back to the Millennial Reign of Christ.

*****Isa 65:21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.

Isa 65:22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

What will life be like during the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ? Jacob will again become Israel and God will have removed the curse on the Children of Israel!

They will partake of the fruit of their own labors without any interference from the outside world.

No enemy will deprive them of their freedom to serve Jehovah God!

They will fulfill the will of God without rebellion!

We know that some trees are said to be more than a thousand years old but most all live to be more than a hundred or even hundreds of years old.

It will be a time of life than no one has known since the age of Adam!

There will be no abortions.

There will be no infant deaths.

There will be no toddler death.

There will be no teenage death.

There will be no one dying before their time!

There will be no mid-life crisis.

There will be no old-age problems.

There will be life everywhere we look and everyone enjoying life!

There will be no one hating to go to work, everyone will enjoy the work of their own hands!

Isaiah is not the only one God gave this message to!

Eze 28:25 Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.

Eze 28:26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.

Eze 36:35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.

Eze 36:36 Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.

Eze 36:37 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

Eze 36:38 As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Amo 9:13 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.

Amo 9:14 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.

Amo 9:15 And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.

God is serious about restoring this people!

Mic 7:15 According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous things.

Mic 7:16 The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.

Mic 7:17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee.

Another thing that will not be seen in the Millennial Kingdom is freeloaders, or those who expect God's economy to provide for them, "without them making contributions of themselves to God's economy"!

Notice how many times we see the words "build" and "work".

The key word could be said to be "enjoy"!

*****Isa 65:23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.

Again, it must be pointed out that the Church that was "caught up" out of this world to be with the Lord forever before the 7 years of Tribulation, will not be any of those who bare children during the time of the Millennial Reign of Christ!

This is a time of God not only fulfilling the prophecy of the prophets of the Old Testament but the promises to King David.

The Church should never be jealous in this period of time because it is much better to already be a part of God's Kingdom and not go through these things on earth during even this great time.

Nothing is better than already being a part of the New Heaven and the New Earth that has not taken place even at this time of restoration of this earth!

All troubles as we know now that happens to families in the bearing and raising of children will be non-existent!

There will be no family problems!

There will be no disease.

There will be no accidents.

There will be no lack of food.

There will be no lack of shelter.

The children that are born during this "age" will remain with their families all their days!

In "typology" we can see that the only thing better than these days will be that eternal life with the Lord in the New Heaven and the New Earth!

What was the intention of the Godhead when the Lord made Adam!

Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

This will be God's intention during the Millennial Reign of King Jesus Christ!

No matter what takes place during this time, it will still be under the watchful eyes of a "Loving God"!

*****Isa 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

The Lord will not allow anyone to worry about the outcome of any day.

The Lord is not say praying would cease "because prayer is in fact also a form of praise"!

The Lord says His ears are always open to His Children. This is not a change from the Lord does now. The Lord's ears are always open to His children!

The big difference in this passage and today is that God will answer instantly. Today there is a reason and a purpose behind every answered prayer and God answers according to His will and His time.

God knows all that we need even before we ask but in the time when He reigns on this earth, He will have already provided every need that His children may have may have!

There will be no physical needs.

There will be no emotional needs.

There will only be love and affection for a Holy God!

1Jn 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

1Jn 5:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

During the reign of the Lord upon this earth all things will be done according to the will of God!

The Lord has always been more than ready to hear and answer our prayers.

The difference here is, that the will of all these people will already be in harmony with the will of God.

This can be the same for us today if we did not have a lack of faith in the truth of the Word of God!

When we are in harmony with God and fulfilling the purpose God has given to us, then the only thing that holds back the answers to our prayers is a lack of faith!

Mat_17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Luk_17:6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

We all suffer from this "lack of faith" so the "Church" will not get done the "Work" that God has given us to do.

This will not be the case when the Lord rules this earth!

How can anyone complain in God's paradise!

*****Isa 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

We might not think about the minds on animals but we should be able to see the difference even in the animal kingdom, the insect kingdom, the sea bound creatures and all God's creation when King Jesus sits on the throne of David!

There will be no enemies anywhere in the animal kingdom and no enemies of men.

For these 1000 years that old serpent, Satan will be bound in the dust of "this earth" along with his influence on the children of God!

Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

I like that word "laid hold", which means he really has no strength at all.

Isa 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Isa 14:16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

Isa 14:17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

God's curse will be removed from His children but God's curse will remain on the devil!

Gen 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

There will be no one or nothing else that will destroy in God's re-created earth for 1000 years because the Word of God will have reached all those who will then know the truth and accept it!

Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

This will be the greatest age of humanity but it will only last for 1000 years!

As the Church, we need to understand that we will certainly be a part of this age but we will already be in our glorified body and not a part of humanity at this time!

God Reveals His Righteousness to All People

God's Righteousness Revealed to the Gentiles

Book of Isaiah Chapter 62

In the time of Isaiah, the Jews did not have good thoughts for the Gentile nations and who could blame them. It had been a daily battle to protect themselves from the Gentile nations for many years and they were now in captivity to Babylon who had physically removed them from their own land. They considered all Gentiles to be their enemy!

They had failed to consider that it was not the Gentiles who were their problem, it was the fact that they had turned away from God themselves!

We all tend to blame others for problems we create for ourselves!

When we forsake the Lord, we cause ourselves multiple problems that can only be solved when we return to the Lord!

The nation of Israel was like an adulterous wife had forsaken the Lord.

They had made Jehovah God to be their enemy!

Jer 21:4 Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will assemble them into the midst of this city.

Jer 21:5 And I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath.

Lam 2:4 He hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury like fire.

Lam 2:5 The Lord was as an enemy: he hath swallowed up Israel, he hath swallowed up all her palaces: he hath destroyed his strong holds, and hath increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation.

Lam 2:6 And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest.

This is a great lesson for all who know the Lord to learn!

What does God teach all nations Jew and Gentile?

We are to hate sin, "But We Are Never To Hate The Sinner"!

Until the Lord returns, He will chastise all those who love Him but He will never forsake them.

Until the Lord returns, everyone will have the same opportunity to have "Victory in Jesus" but those who reject Him will certainly face the "Wrath of God"!

Until this time, which only the Lord knows, God will accept "whosoever" will call upon His name!

We must remember it was humans who designated the chapters and verse numbers so let's once again look at the previous verse:

Isa 61:11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

The Lord will not rest until everyone upon the face of this earth gets an opportunity to know the righteousness of our Holy God!

Those who know the righteousness of God will certainly be the same ones who will praise God for what He has done!

Today a Gentile is considered to be anyone who is not a Jew.

A Gentile is anyone who worships a god other than Jehovah God. Which means all those who are not true Jew and true Christian.

Even the true Jew is not a Christian until they accept the Lord Jesus Christ and today those that do are known as Messianic Jews.

We should all consider that the Jew has never been told to forsake the laws of Moses but they have been told to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and no more sacrifice for sin is necessary.

In the Scriptures, the Gentile is also named heathen or we would say "pagans".

God still loves all pagans, or all heathen, or all Gentiles no matter how we say it!

*****Isa 62:1 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

Again, we need to be reminded that the Prophet Isaiah was murdered for preaching the message he was given by the Holy Spirit and we should consider these Scriptures as God speaking to us, Himself!

Zion is the little mountain where the city of Jerusalem was built and in many Scriptures, it is called the "City of David".

BUT, Zion can also mean the "people of God"!

Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Rev 3:13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

We already know God has a great zeal to fulfill all His promises.

God will not rest until all those who want to spend eternity with Him have made that known to Him!

AND, God will not rest until that glorious change in children of Israel has been accomplished!

Our salvation is assured by the inerrant Word of God, if we call on the name of Jesus in "faith"!

For many hundreds of years God has worked through the Jews to bring salvation to the world. It is easy to say the Jews failed and they may have failed the full intention of the Lord but if not for them, we as Gentiles would still have never known the salvation of the Lord!

Jesus Christ, the true Messiah came as a Jew. The Apostles were Jews. The Apostle Paul was a Jew.

It is these Jews by the Word of God who had been given the job of continuing with the salvation plan of God until once again the Jew will carry this message to the world.

There is coming the day when the righteousness and salvation of Zion will shine forth brighter than the dawn of a new Sun!

The Lord has instructed the Church to continue in His brightness until He returns to sit on the throne of David in Jerusalem and then these words will be fulfilled!

Mat_5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

That continuously burning lamp is a type of the presence of Jehovah and then the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ, is the express image of His Father in Heaven.

Heb_1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

The Lord Jesus Christ will fulfill all the Old Testament prophecy!

Mal_4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

When the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross and paid the sin debt for, not only all humans but for all God's creation, He became our "new owner".

As much as this world will deny it, they all belong to Satan, the Devil, until they call on the name of Jesus Christ!

This world is the Lord's "purchased" property and He is coming to lay claim on His purchase at any time!

Notice the Lord will not hold His peace. It will be a time of God's wrath until He accomplishes His goal.

Notice also, the Lord will not rest until the salvation lamp burns brightly in Jerusalem and seen throughout this world!

*****Isa 62:2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

This Scripture gives us a great reference to the day Our Lord will sit as King, as the Messiah, as He rules from Jerusalem for 1000 years!

The Scripture also describes the Gentiles (those who have not known the truth of God) as they view the righteousness of Zion (the true Church), at the beginning of the Millennial reign of the Lord.

They will say: "see how these Christians love one another and love their God" (the 2 commandments of Jesus Christ)

Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

It will also be a time of Israel's final glory.

All leaders of nations that remain will acknowledge that all laws will come from Israel and King Jesus.

This will not be as hard as people think because the same Word of God that we have now will be the source of all law.

The Word of God will never change!

Psa_119:89 LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

If God's Word is settled in Heaven then it cannot be changed by the people of any age!

It is a shame that so many try to change what God has said, today!

What will a new name do?

1) It will abolish the old name! The title Saint will replace, idolater, spiritual adulterer, sinner. (Condemnation replaced with justification)!

2) It will abolish the old character! There is a new birth, new nature, new life.

3) It will be significant of a New Acceptance, a New Honor! From an old shack to a mansion. From Salvation to Glorification!

Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Rev 3:13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

I don't know about anyone else but the Lord can give me any name He chooses and call me by whatever He will, because I will be with Him throughout eternity!

Psa_84:10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

How will the Lord present His Church to the world?

*****Isa 62:3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

1) A Crown of Glory is described as an ornament of "Grace" in Proverbs 4:9 and we are saved by the "Grace" of God.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

A Crown of Glory represents the Lord's workmanship toward His Church.

2) A Crown of Glory is described as a diadem of beauty in Isaiah 28:5. The Crown of Glory, replacing my own crown of pride!

3) A Crown of Glory is described as the head of those who have grown old who have remained in the Lord since the day they accepted Him as their Savior and have remained in righteousness all their days. Righteous in the way they served their own families and noticed by our Heavenly Father. Proverbs 16:31

Pro 17:6 Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.

4) A Crown of Glory is promised to all those who have become ministers of the Word of God, when the Chief Shepherd (The Messiah) returns to take His Church home! 1 Pe 5:4

Heb 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

Heb 13:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

All the world will see the Glorified Saints of God, the Bride of Christ, on display in all her glory presented by her Husband, The Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ!

The world may call us by many names but when we wear the "Seal of the Holy Spirit" what the world says does not matter!

*****Isa 62:4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

Forsaken means to be deserted, or left, or abandoned.

It is true that the people of Israel and even Jerusalem felt that Lord had forsaken them for what God would say was a short time because we do not live in the same time as our God.

Act 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

There shall come a time when Israel will also understand these words!

Act 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

Rom_11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

If we would use the time scale of this world for our daily activities but live in the time scale that God has given to us, we would understand in what "Age" we live and know that the "Church Age" is coming to an end very soon!

We have seen so many things fulfilled in accordance with the Word of God that we should know this thing! (God said to be watchers)

Luk_21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

It’s not time to hang our heads in failure or in sadness, it’s time to look up and know we will soon be going home!

Israel will no longer be forsaken, (the people nor the land), and we are already seeing signs that this is also true!

Hephizibah means "the land God takes His delight in"

What has God promised?

Eze 36:34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.

Eze 36:35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.

Eze 36:36 Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.

Beulah means "the land that is married to its people". (We sing that song "Beulah Land" because we are married to Heaven)

Again, we see the beginning of this happening before our eyes today in Israel.

The Lord uses the term "marriage" in the sense of a permanent bond in all cases.

Eph_5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

One day soon we will truly live in Beulah land because it is the place where the Lord dwells and we will be with Him!

Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

And the Church will be joined with those of Israel who have gone through the "Time of Jacob's Trouble".

Hos 2:19 And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.

Hos 2:20 I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD.

*****Isa 62:5 For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

The city of Jerusalem will be filled with only believers and the Lord will rejoice over Jerusalem like a bridegroom over his new bride!

We see that the Lord has chosen Jerusalem at this time.

Psa_132:13 For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.

In "typology" the Jerusalem we see for 1000 years is a type of the New Jerusalem that will be for eternity!

Rev_21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

God has determined that the Messiah will return to set up His Kingdom upon this earth for 1000 years.

The government will be housed at Jerusalem.

The glory of the Lord will go forth from Jerusalem.

The Lord Jesus Christ will make Jerusalem the praise of the earth!

*****Isa 62:6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,

Isa 62:7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

In the days of Isaiah, the watchmen were the men who were assigned the task of guarding the city from a surprise attack.

We should consider that the Church has returned with the Lord now and all believers are to be "watchmen" which includes being "prayer warriors" today!

We are to never hold our peace and never keep silent about the wonderful works of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Rom_2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

We are always to cry out to the Lord to fulfill His promises.

We must never forget, We Stand or fall on The Promises of God!

In fact, in this Scripture, we are wrong when we do not pray for God to fulfill the promises He has made to us!

We must remember this parable: (also remembering a parable is an earthly story with a Heavenly meaning)

Luk 11:5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;

Luk 11:6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?

Luk 11:7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.

Luk 11:8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.

Luk 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

Luk 11:10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

We can go boldly to the throne of God but be humble when we get there and we must certainly go often!

We must give the Lord no rest in our prayers until He returns to take us home but we must also remain just as busy as the Lord, until that glorious day arrives!

The closer we are to the Lord, the greater our growth in "Faith"!

When the Lord establishes Jerusalem as the praise of the earth, then all the Church will be joined together!

As for Israel, they all need to remember the time of Jacob and the Lord:

Gen 32:24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

Gen 32:25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

Gen 32:26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

Gen 32:27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.

Gen 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

There comes a time when we need to wrestle with the Lord until we receive His blessing!

These are Gods own words and just as true as all others!

In fact, I believe the Lord loves a good wrestling match with those who love Him. (Up close and personal)

There is coming that day when the Church will be a thing of praise in this entire world, just the opposite of today when the Christian is so hated.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Then God actually guarantees all these things!

*****Isa 62:8 The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:

Isa 62:9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

We already know that the right hand of God is the Lord Jesus Christ and the power of that arm is the Holy Spirit.

It is the Triune God that solemnly binds Himself "by an oath" to come to the relief of His people. In this case God is referring to the Jewish people after the "Time of Jacobs Trouble".

We have seen God swear by Himself.

We have seen God swear by His Holiness.

We have seen God swear by His Great Name.

But God has also sworn by the excellency of Jacob:

Amo 8:7 The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.

God promised the "Time of Jacobs Trouble" but God also said the true Jews would be saved out of this judgment.

Amo 9:10 All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.

Jer_30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

So, it is at this point where we can see the truth of our Scripture, today.

When Israel was in control of the land called Palestine, the fruits of their labor were constantly destroyed or carried off by hostile neighbors. Much of this has not changed today.

Terrorism affects Israel more than any other nation daily and it is ignored by this world!

God has sworn to put an end to all these things.

It is this promise to Israel that will finally bring peace to the entire world but notice it is only after the Church has been removed and there has been 7 years of Hell on earth!

The courts of God's holiness now will be Zion but will include this entire world!

Deu 12:7 And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.

God says proclaim His Word to be true because it is!

*****Isa 62:10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

We already know that the Jerusalem of this age, is now a thing of Beauty and the Temple has been restored and the Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah sits upon the throne of David.

We also know that the way of salvation has been prepared so it is just a matter of going through the gates to Zion!

This is the same way of salvation today!

The Lord has prepared the way and all that need be done is to go through the "Door", the "Gate", those things being the Lord Jesus Christ Himself!

Miss the wrath of God and go today, "The Way Has Been Prepared"!

Zion can also mean the Church and the "Gates" of the Church have been open since the First Coming of the Lord!

To the Jew, they stumbled at the "stumble stone" of Jesus Christ.

1Co 1:22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

1Co 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

1Co 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

All the obstacles for the Jews have been removed and even for all the Gentiles that remain!

As the Church, we are to understand all these things also making note that we will miss out on the wrath of God and return with Him when He returns to Mount Zion.

The Church has already been "Justified" and "Redeemed"! (The Church is just waiting to be picked up)

Blindness will be removed from the Jews!

Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

We must understand what God says today is meant for the world to hear and this maybe the most important part of our job to get God's Word out to the world!

Most people think getting involved with the Church is inside the doors of the Church but our field of labor is now and has always been outside those doors!

The Lord Jesus Christ has done all the work to make salvation a reality for "whosoever" calls upon His name.

It is our job to tell the world His name so they will know "Who" to call upon! (it is not Allah, or Buda, or Confucius, or any other false thing, but only the Lord Jesus Christ)

"We must prepare the way of the people"

"We must gather the stumble stones out of that highway to salvation"

"We must lift up a standard for the people" That Standard being Jesus Christ the Messiah!

It is only the Church that will miss out on the "wrath of God"!

*****Isa 62:11 Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

The Lord has always had the same message!

Psa 98:1 O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

Psa 98:2 The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.

Psa 98:3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Psa 98:4 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

The salvation of the Lord has always been about "Faith" and "Obedience" to the Word of God!

Salvation is just the beginning of the rewards that come from knowing Jesus Christ as our Savior!

Psa_116:12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

The "Gospel" of Jesus Christ is the "Highway" to eternal life! The way is clearly marked! This highway is lit by the "Glory" of God in His Son!

Even all the "peculiar people" of the Lord have found this to be true!

This world as we know it will end one day and there is a far better place that we will call home!

What did Jesus say?

Joh 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Joh 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Joh 14:4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

What is the truth of this place that Jesus has gone to prepare?

1Co_2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

The work of salvation is complete!

The preparations of our new home are complete!

When the Lord returns He will complete all His other work!

Isa 40:10 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

Who are those that will inhabit Jerusalem and all the world during the Millennial Reign of Christ!

*****Isa 62:12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

Zion the Church are the Holy People because they are the Redeemed of the Lord!

Zion the city of Jerusalem will be restored also!

Jer 30:17 For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.

Jer 30:18 Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.

Jer 30:19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.

Jer 30:20 Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.

The Jews once known as a holy people until Roman conquest have been despised but then they will again be called a Holy People who serve the true Lord.
