THE MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB

Revelation Chapter 19

Praise ye the Lord. "alleluia". We say Hallelujah! This word is used four times in the New Testament all in Chapter 19. Worldwide this word means "Praise ye the Lord". At the time of this rejoicing in Heaven, there will not be anyone anywhere that does not believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

1.) Everyone in Hell is a believer now.(to be an unbeliever is the only way to get there)

2.) Everyone in Heaven is a believer.(to be a believer is the only way to get there)

3.) Everyone that is left on Earth at the end of the Great Tribulation will believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

4.) Not one unbeliever anywhere!

We know who the Lamb is, He is the Son of God, Jesus Christ!

So who is this "Bride"?

If we continue in God's word we can find the answer.

In the Book of Ephesians we can see the relationship in marriage to Christ and His "Bride":

Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

The Lord's Supper illustrates the oneness of the church as Christ's Body:

1Co 10:16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

1Co 10:17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

We can see how Christ loves His Church, His "Bride":

Eph 5:1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

Eph 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Eph 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Just as in the Oriental wedding customs, at the betrothal(engagement) the "bride" receives the promise of future blessing with her husband. The church today is an espoused "bride" awaiting her husband's return from glory. The second stage of the Oriental marriage is the wedding itself, when the husband comes to take the "bride" to be with Him.

Joh 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Joh 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

and

1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

In the Oriental wedding, the wedding feast followed and similarly the true Church, as Christ's "bride".

Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Rev 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

The Millennial Kingdom cannot happen till these things have taken place!

Our text:

Rev 19:1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:

Rev 19:2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

Rev 19:3 And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.

Rev 19:4 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

Back in Chapter 18 an angel I believe to be Christ Himself called up to Heaven with these words:

Rev 18:20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

We can see that all those in Heaven will witness the downfall of this Mystery, Babylon the Great and there will be great rejoicing from all that are in Heaven.

That term "after these things"(Rev 18:21-24) refer to this destruction of this Mystery called a "great whore".

Who is rejoicing?

1.) All of Heaven.

2.) The Holy Apostles.

3.) The Holy Prophets.

Verse 1 says "much" people in Heaven:

If we break this down a bit:

"People" means a body of persons. This could be a town, a city or a nation. In our verse we know it means in Heaven.

Now we add the word "much" and we can see the this is a great amount of people. As in (much greater) than we can imagine!

What had Heaven seen?

Those on Earth called these by a different name. They had mourned and lamented on destruction and loss but Heaven saw things differently.

1.) The Salvation of "whosoever" would call on the name of the Lord!

Luk 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

2.) The "glory" of God was still seen even in His wrath.

Isaiah said:

Isa 6:5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

Job said:

Job 42:5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.

Job 42:6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

Peter said:

Luk 5:8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

We will all be like Thomas in the end:

Joh 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

3.) All of Heaven will "honor" Him.

They will reverence Him, worship Him and Adore Him!

Joh 5:23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

Joh 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

4.) They all have witnessed His glorious "power".

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.

Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Why?

Because true and righteous are all His judgments!

The Bible says:

Deu 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

Psa 19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

Isa 25:1 O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

You see that "thing" had corrupted the entire Earth. Anyone can see that this is happening right before our eyes and after the rapture of the Church it will get much worse until this day of the Lord.

This had happened before, remember the days of Noah.

Gen 6:11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

Gen 6:12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

Gen 6:13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence [through them]; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Who was this "them"?

This is the same bunch of Satan's

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

(Her "smoke" rose up forever)

This a reference to the "Eternal burning Lake of Fire".

I fully believe that this will take place on this Earth. This will not be seen from Heaven but by God Himself but I believe it is very possible that those in this "burning lake of fire" will be able to see what goes on on the New Heaven and Earth.

The Bible says:

Luk 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

In this scripture in the Book of Luke that man in hell could see Abraham but it does not say Lazarus could see into hell but only Abraham.

The Church, (the Bride) and those Beast in Heaven know of this fulfillment of scripture and we get back to worship the Glorious God of Heaven. What bride would not be proud of her espoused husband.

Our text:

*****Rev 19:5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.

Rev 19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

There are so many voices in Heaven that when they worship the Lord God in unison it sounds like a great waterfall. All this praise was for only one, the Mighty One Himself, The Omnipotent God, who reigns and will reign forever more.

Omnipotent by the words of the Webster Dictionary mean:

Almighty; possessing unlimited power; all powerful. The being that can create worlds must be omnipotent.

Omnipotent by the words of the Strong Dictionary mean: the all ruling God. Absolute and universal sovereignty. Almighty.

The Thayer Dictionary says:

1.) He who holds sway over all things.

2.) The ruler of ALL things.

3.) The Almighty God.

Our text:

*****Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

It's now time for the wedding but notice the scripture does not say the marriage of the "Bride". It is the Lamb that is full of joy at this time. We must remember God saved us for His sake.

Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Eph 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Eph 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God [for Christ's sake] hath forgiven you.

And again:

Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Eph 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

The "Millennial" Kingdom will not begin until after the wedding ceremony!

So who is this "Bride"?

The scriptures clearly teach that this "bride" is not Israel nor a remnant of Israel but is truly a "Gentile Bride"! She is called out from all races, "WHOSOEVER WILL". Not a specific group nor specific nation.

The promises to Abraham will be completely fulfilled. Israel was the wife of Jehovah but Jehovah divorced her because of her sin. She will be reinstated by Jehovah but she could never be a virgin again. Jesus Christ will marry a virgin:

2Co 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Again:

Eph 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

These things cannot be said about Israel!

Who makes up the Church?

All born again believers between Acts 2 where the Church began:

Act 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Act 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Act 2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Act 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

And the day of the Rapture:

1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

All these that are between these verses are the True Church of Jesus Christ, The Bride of Christ!

The twenty four elders that we met in Revelation Chapter four represent the Church and by the way, after this mention of them in this chapter (19:4) we will not see them mentioned again because the Church will will be married to the Lord. These share and share alike there is no difference in them.

Heb 11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

1Co 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

The Church will no longer be separated from the Lord:

Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Eph 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

Eph 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Eph 1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

Eph 1:23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

1.) Marriage is the first and only institution established by God before the Fall and flood of Noah's day.

2.) The Word of God clearly states that God intended humanity to show the male and female expressions according to the dictates of God's Word.

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Another proof of a man and a woman:

Lev 20:10 And the man that committeth adultery [with another man's wife], even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

And another:

Mat 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

Mat 5:28 But I say unto you, [That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart].

3.) Marriage is an intimate union of two persons — a man and a woman. It is a permanent relationship.

Mat 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

This mention of "one flesh" takes us back the Genesis:

Gen 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Gen 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

This wedding as well as involving the climax of this evil age it also seems clear that the Marriage Supper of the Lamb will involve the New Jerusalem, the Holy City. That city is referred to by John as "the wife of the Lamb". It is a city made up of living stones, joined to the Chief Cornerstone of Zion, even the covenant people of God.

1Pe 2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

1Pe 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

1Pe 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

1Pe 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

1Pe 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Unlike Western marriage practices, the Jewish marriage has a greater degree of formalism involving numerous steps:

Jewish marriage included a number of steps: first, betrothal (which involved the prospective groom’s traveling from his father’s house to the home of the prospective bride, paying the purchase price, and thus establishing the marriage covenant); second, the groom’s returning to his father’s house (which meant remaining separate from his bride for 12 months, during which time he prepared the living accommodations for his wife in his father’s house); third, the groom’s coming for his bride at a time not known exactly to her; fourth, his return with her to the groom’s father’s house to consummate the marriage and to celebrate the wedding feast for the next seven days (during which the bride remained closeted in her bridal chamber).

First, the father of the groom made the arrangements for the marriage and paid the bride price. The timing of the arrangement varied. Sometimes it occurred when both children were small, and at other times it was a year before the marriage itself. Often the bride and groom did not even meet until their wedding day. The second step, which occurred a year or more after the first step, was the fetching of the bride. The bridegroom would go to the home of the bride in order to bring her to his home. In connection with this step, two other things should be noted. First, it was the father of the groom who determined the timing. Second, prior to the groom’s leaving to fetch the bride, he must already have a place prepared for her as their abode. This was followed by the third step, the wedding ceremony, to which a few would be invited. Prior to the wedding ceremony, the bride underwent a ritual immersion for ritual cleansing. The fourth step, the marriage feast, would follow and could last for as many as seven days. Many more people would be invited to the feast than were to the marriage ceremony. In the Marriage of the Lamb all four of these steps of the Jewish wedding ceremony are evident.

As we have seen, the OT represents Israel as the wife of Jehovah. Although she has been unfaithful and divorced by her Husband, a time is coming when "all Israel will be saved" (Rom. 11:26). At that time, Jehovah will take her back as His wife:

I will call them My people who were not My people, and her beloved, who was not beloved. And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them, "You are not my people." There they shall be called sons of the living God. (Rom. 9:25-26 cf. Hos. 2:23; Hos. 1:10)29

In the meantime, those who accept Messiah Jesus are baptized into His body (1Cor. 12:13). In the same way that Eve was literally "one flesh" with Adam, having been taken from his side (Gen. 2:21-24), so believers are joined into the spiritual body of Christ and betrothed to Him. During Jacob’s Trouble and the Great Tribulation, the wife of Jehovah is being purified on earth in preparation for her restoration during the Millennial Kingdom to follow. At the same time, the bride of Christ is in her bridal chamber, having been taken in the Rapture and wed to Him at the marriage of the Lamb.

Later, after the Millennial Kingdom has come to a close and a new heavens and new earth are created, the holy city, the New Jerusalem, is prepared by Jehovah as a bride adorned for her husband—the Lamb (Rev. 21:2+, 9+). The long-unfulfilled promises of the restoration of Jerusalem, which found their initial fulfillment in the Millennial Kingdom (Isa. 62), will come to final fruition in the New Jerusalem where all the redeemed of all ages are in union with God and the Lamb Who are its temple (Rev. 21:22+). This is the ultimate consummation of all the redeemed.

Our text:

*****Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

We know the "bride" of Christ is prepared at the Bema Seat of judgment just after the Rapture of the Church.

Revelation 4:4 told us the twenty four elders were dressed in white raiment. They had been given their crowns.

Revelation 4:10 told us that they had cast those crowns at the feet of Jesus.

Giving thanks to Christ

Col 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

With all shame gone then come righteousness.

1Jn 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

1Jn 2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

Then the wedding garments:

We knew our righteousness was as filthy rags:

Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and [all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags]; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Now our righteousness can only come through Christ:

Rom 3:22 [Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe]: for there is no difference:

And:

2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

The pure white linen signifies God's Holiness in the linen worn by the "bride". The Church is now spotless and without blemish.

Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Eph 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

1.)We will have the Rapture.(Christ comes after His bride)

2.) The judgment seat of Christ.(The bride prepared)

3.) The Marriage.(Revelation 19:7)

4.) Christ will return with His Bride.(Revelation 19:14)

Our text:

*****Rev 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, [These are the true sayings of God].

Rev 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Even God's precious saints in Heaven are something to look upon but it is God that we will worship!

The Final Fall Of Babylon

THE FINAL FALL OF BABYLON THE GREAT

Revelation Chapter 18

In our study of Revelation we have talked about the how the Anti-Christ was a "religious" genius and a "political" genius and also an "economical" genius and a "military" genius. In chapter 17 we saw the downfall of his religious system. We know that the false prophet built an image and caused people to worship this image. This makes us think of the time of Nebuchadnezzar and his golden image. This made him feel great for awhile.

Dan 3:1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

We can see that this was not enough for him. He wanted to be worshipped as a gOD himself.

Dan 4:22 It is thou, O king, that art grown and become strong: for thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven, and thy dominion to the end of the earth.

Dan 4:30 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?

We can see that The Almighty Living God had to step in a punish this evil man.

Dan 4:31 While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.

This Anti-Christ will also have the desire to be worshiped as gOD. He therefore will not need a "religious" system and will destroy it himself.

Rev 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

Rev 17:17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

We can see who was in charge all along as it is God who sits on the throne in Heaven. We will now see in this chapter the downfall of all the systems Satan has put in place. This will happen fast and it is the purpose of the vials that were poured out in chapter 16.

Our text:

*****Rev 18:1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

After what things?

After those ten kings have made that Apostate religion of the Anti-Christ naked and desolate.

Naked:

The world will see her as she is, "all false" and all those that have come under her umbrella.

All religion not based on Jesus Christ and the truth of the word of God are false and will be brought down at this time.

1.) The Anti-Christ will now be called not just the messiah but a god himself.

2.) This false system claiming to be of God will be destroyed.

3.) All those riches will be taken over by the Anti-Christ to make him more powerful.

4.) The false church will have no means to defend herself, she will be "Naked".

Desolate:

She will be destroyed, without any that will defend her and left in ruins.

I believe that this angel with great power is none other than Our Lord Jesus that came down with this message. Notice "the earth was lightened with his glory".

This is another place that connects the Book of Revelation to the Book of Genesis:

Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

This light that came to Earth before the creation of any star or moon or even the sun was the Glory of God.

Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

We saw Him earlier:

Rev 10:5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

Rev 10:6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

Babylon is fallen, is fallen,

First the apostate religious system and in this chapter the "economical" and "political" system and by the end of this day the military systems of the Anti-Christ and of Satan.

Remember how Satan tempted the Lord Jesus Christ:

Mat 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

Mat 4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

Mat 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

And has become the habitations of devils:

Remember what Paul wrote:

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Once the "religious system" falls we see it is the "devils and all evilness" that replace this system. Remember the unclean spirits of Revelation 16:13-14. This time on Earth will be the most evil of all time. All these things are exposed in the end and systematically destroyed by Our Saviour!

Rev 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Rev 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

The Bible says:

2Co 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Act 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

It is the spirit of Satan that has caused all these things and confused all these that will die for him at this time:

Eph 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, [the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience]:

It is only Christ that can deliver us from these things:

Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and [hath translated] us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Notice that word "hath". It simply means that once you accept Jesus you have from that moment been "translated" into His Kingdom.

Our text:

*****Rev 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

We can see that this is a world wide system. Remember this Anti-Christ is an economical wizard. We can see that this world is ready for such a person right now as the whole world seems to be in economical trouble. Now these are not the same ones that destroyed her. Those kings were appointed by the Anti-Christ.

What else do we see? There are those behind the scenes "merchants" that have waxed rich even while the entire world suffers. These people can never have enough and do not care if nations fail nor that people suffer. They just want more and more. There are private societies even today that prosper from war. That prosper from abortion. That prosper from starving people. That prosper from diseases. That prosper from "terrorism" and they use all these things and many others to have their own way.

We would find if we searched that the tax payers of the world actually fund the biggest part of the atrocities of mankind!

Those "delicacies" can best be described as, luxuries and desire to be the supreme authority. Of course this is why the devil will destroy this thing.

The Psalmist wrote:

Psa 10:2 The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

Psa 10:3 For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.

Psa 10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

Psa 10:5 His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.

Psa 10:6 He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.

Psa 10:7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.

Psa 10:8 He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.

Psa 10:9 He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.

Psa 10:10 He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.

Psa 10:11 He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.

Psa 10:12 Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.

A wise man said:

Pro 17:5 Whoso mocketh the poor reproacheth his Maker: and he that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished.

You see God never forgets those that have abused His creation!

Our text:

*****Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Rev 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

The "Last" call from the Lord Jesus Himself:

2Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

2Co 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

This is the last call before those vials are poured out that we have read about in Chapter 16.

Rev 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

Our text:

*****Rev 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

We know that Satan, the Devil is a thief:

Jesus said:

Joh 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

The Bible says:

Jer 17:18 Let them be confounded that persecute me, but let not me be confounded: let them be dismayed, but let not me be dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.

Jer 16:18 And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things.

Jer 51:6 Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD'S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.

Jer 51:7 Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD'S hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

Jer 51:8 Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.

Jer 51:44 And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.

Jer 51:45 My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.

Our text:

*****Rev 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

Rev 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

These verses describe these false systems of the Devil and the response of a Holy God.

The Bible says:

1Ti 5:5 Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.

1Ti 5:6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

This evil system of the Devil has been with us since the fall of man. It has thrived off of the blood of God's people. Robbing the poor, in fact robbing all that would partake of it's evilness and lust. We all have been in this trap and snare and only through Jesus Christ can we be set free.

This evil system of Satan brags that she will not be a widow because a widow would trust in God and pray. This thing lives in pleasure and the Bible says she is dead while she lives. In the end none of those involved in this hidden world of Satan will ever repent.

The Bible says:

2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Therefore (verse 8):

Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

We witnessed these plagues in Chapter 16. They will all probably come in one day. God said there will be no more delay.

Rev 10:6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, [that there should be time no longer]:

Our text:

*****Rev 18:9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

Rev 18:10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

Here we see the evil "political" system. They had given their allegiance to this false system. They bewailed because not only had this system been destroyed, they no longer had a job. Makes you think about those Pharisees and Sadducees and Elders and Priests of the time of Jesus. These also knew that the army of the Anti-Christ would take away their power. This could account for "the deadly wound".

The Bible says:

These are the worldly kings that are not a part of the military strength of the Anti-Christ but they have also lived off of this evil political and economical system. Satan has robbed the world of all it's treasures and the entire world sees the coming doom.

Jer 51:50 [Ye that have escaped the sword, go away, stand not still: remember the LORD afar off], and let Jerusalem come into your mind.

The prophets say:

Eze 26:16 Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble at every moment, and be astonished at thee.

Eze 26:17 And they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How art thou destroyed, that wast inhabited of seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror to be on all that haunt it!

Eze 32:9 I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known.

Eze 32:10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall.

Isa 13:9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

Isa 13:19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

Isa 34:8 For it is the day of the LORD'S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.

Isa 34:9 And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.

Isa 34:10 It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.

Do you know where you will spend eternity if the Lord comes today?

Our text:

*****Rev 18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

Rev 18:12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,

Rev 18:13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

This the downfall of the "economical system". The world will be in chaos. There will be no one to buy their goods.

Even when the world appears headed for doom, these money grabbing people can only think of their riches. You know it is said of many people that some of the rich backed both sides in World War II and they financed the recovery of many nations and just got richer. It happens in every war! War is not a hindrance to the rich except during this final time of the Great Tribulation. There will be a true King on the throne when this is over and a new government.

The prophet says:

Zep 1:11 Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off.

Zep 1:14 The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

Zep 1:15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,

Zep 1:16 A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.

Zep 1:17 And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.

Zep 1:18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

Remember Gideon:

The world will see the sword of the Lord during this last day of Great Tribulation:

The souls of man:

Those that do not accept the number of the beast will be bought and sold as slaves. All souls belong to God! Where will He place your soul? The Lord Jesus said you could put all the world in one pile and just one soul in another pile and that one soul was of more value to Him than all the world.

2Pe 2:3 [And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you]: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

Our text:

*****Rev 18:14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.

Rev 18:15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,

Rev 18:16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

The rich of this Earth are all now broke.

Mat 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

James wrote:

Jas 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Jas 4:5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

We talked earlier how that "Mystery, Babylon the Great" had started her false religion in the time of Nimrod and the tower of Babel. What we have seen with the political and commercial by comparison is that Babylon the great, the city of Nebuchadnezzar. This was the grandest city of that time but also full of evil and the seat of Satan at that time. This economical and political system still exists though it is world wide at this time of the Great Tribulation. Will it be centered in one particular city? Probably, but it would be a guess to say which one.

Our text:

****Rev 18:17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,

Rev 18:18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!

Rev 18:19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

"for in one hour":

What all happens in this one hour?

1.) The "judgement" of Mystery Babyl0n. (Rev 18:10)

2.) The "economical" systems have failed. (Rev18:17)

3.) The worldwide systems of the Anti-Christ have been put down by our Lord. (Rev 18:19)

4.) Satan has appointed his ten kings for the final battle. (Rev 17:12)

Our text:

*****Rev 18:20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

Remember that angel from verse 1: He calls to Heaven, IT'S TIME FOR EVERYONE IN HEAVEN TO REJOICE!

Our text:

*****Rev 18:21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, [Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all].

Daniel wrote:

Dan 2:32 This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,

Dan 2:33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.

Dan 2:34 [Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

Dan 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth].

Paul:

Rom 9:33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Peter:

1Pe 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

That "Rock" is Jesus Christ:

1Co 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Our text:

*****Rev 18:22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;

Rev 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

Rev 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

1.) No joy or happiness.

2.) No intelligent people.

3.) No commercialism or jobs.

4.) Nothing good but all evil darkness.

5.) No families of any kind.

Why?

1.) Sorceries ("pharmakea"): The evilness of the Anti-Christ and the god of this world had a "drug effect" on all nations of this world.

1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

1Ti 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

1Ti 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

What was found?

1.) The proof that all this evilness was designed to kill God's children!

Remember, Why was the Burning Lake of Fire created?

Mat 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, [prepared for the devil and his angels]:

Satan's whole purpose has been to destroy the children of God!

The blood of every martyr, of every prophet, of every Saint, of every child of God was found in this evil place!

God asked Cain this question:

Gen 4:9 And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?

Gen 4:10 And he said, What hast thou done? [the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground].

Jesus said of the devil and his followers:

Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

THE VICTORY OF THE LAMB

What is "victory"?

The Webster dictionary says of "victory": Conquest; the defeat of an enemy in battle, or of an antagonist in contest; a gaining of the superiority in war or combat. Victory supposes the power of an enemy or an antagonist to prove inferior to that of the victor. Victory however depends not always on superior skill or valor; it is often gained by the fault or mistake of the vanquished.

You see Satan made a mistake BUT THAT IS NOT WHY HE WILL LOSE THE WAR:

The Lord God says:

Eze 28:6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; [Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God];

Eze 28:7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.

Eze 28:8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.

You see God has His number one commandment. In the words of Jesus Christ our Lord:

Mat 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.

Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Again in Luke:

Luk 10:25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

Luk 10:26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

Luk 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

What has this enemy of God done?

Paul wrote:

Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, [that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil].

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

I submit to you that this is Mystery Babylon that our study will now take us through in the next two chapters.

Our Lord Christ was blatantly shown this thing during his temptation by Satan himself:

The Bible says:

Luk 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

Luk 4:6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

Luk 4:7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

Luk 4:8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Satan was showing Our Lord his Mystery(to us not God) Babylon!

The Apostle Paul wrote to us these words:

2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

2Th 2:5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

2Th 2:6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

2Th 2:7 [For the mystery of iniquity doth already work]: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

We must not forget, this battle was not for Christ, or The Father or the Holy Ghost. This battle has been for the entire creation of God and especially the humans that live on the Earth. God's greatest creation! God has set the rules and wrote all these things down for us to see from that very first day back in Genesis some 6000 years ago. The Holy Ghost has kept a leash on Satan for all these years but once the Lord raptures His Church He will allow Satan to be part of this "Judgment" also.

Our Text:

*****Rev 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

We need to get a better understanding of this word "judgment" as it is used in this verse.

Mat 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

Mat 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

The way this word is used in both of these verses is:

1.) Condemnation

2.) Punishment

3.) Sentence

4.) And Eternal Damnation.

What was a reason Christ came to this world?

Joh 9:39 And Jesus said, [For judgment] I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

We have seen and will see righteous "judgment" from our Lord:

Rom 2:2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.

Rom 2:3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

Rom 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Rom 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

Rom 2:6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

What we have seen and will see is that Satan and his followers will receive "judgment" the same way he and they have dished it out all these years.

The word "Judgment" is used in many other ways such as the Greek word "dikaioma" which means justification. These are important differences when we study God's word.

Rom 11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

Rom 11:34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?

In the second and third chapters of Revelation we saw how God judged His Church. We now see how God will judge Satan and his powers and principalities and his religious system.

The Apostle Peter wrote:

1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

1Pe 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

1Pe 4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

The same Greek word (krima) is used in all these verses:

What does this word "whore" mean in this verse? (Greek porne)

Unfaithfulness!

To put it in the way it is meant here is to say being rewarded for unfaithfulness. The evil use of God's people to make a profit for Satan and his followers. The unseen Mystery Babylon.

Our text:

*****Rev 17:2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

It's easy to see from this verse that it says for the most part the kings of the Earth have also gone the way of this false religion. We may not have many kings in our day but this word is used as the sovereign of any nation. We like to disagree with these things but in the time of the Great Tribulation this will be an absolute fact and is more true than not even in our day.

We can also see that that the inhabitants, all the people that are not the sovereign rulers are being made to drink of this relationship. In other words the people that say they free are not really free.

Jesus asked this question of Peter one day:

Mat 17:24 And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?

Mat 17:25 He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?

Mat 17:26 Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. [Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free].

Mat 17:27 [Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them], go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

Jesus lived in Capernaum yet He still had to pay tribute that was do from strangers. Are the children then free? We can see in our day it is the strangers that are not charged tribute but the local people(taxes) and NO ONE IS FREE. Jesus still taught us to be obedient to those that are in power. In fact in America it is the stranger that does not have to pay tribute!

Rom 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

To drink of this "wine" would be like drinking poison. To be made drunk is to be intoxicated. IN-TOXIC-ATED. That word toxic means poison. These inhabitants of the Earth will be poisoned by the Apostasy of this Satan inspired religion.

Our text:

*****Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

This verse leaves no doubt that this false religion has rode on the strength of the Devil to reach her importance in this world. She is riding that "Bloody Red Dragon" of Chapter 13.

It can also be said that Satan is carrying this false religion as far as he can for his own purpose, for Satan's religion is his own self and he has no regard for anyone but himself.

Our text:

*****Rev 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

**This Mystery.

We can see from this verse that the world had donated heavily into the coffers of this false religion. Maybe we need to look around and see how God's money is spent in our own church before we criticize this "whore".

In this time of John a "whore" or "harlot" was proud of what she was and wore some ornament or jewel on her forehead. This church of apostasy wears her name proudly for the world to see. She has been a "Mystery" a behind the scenes working of Satan. She is everything that the "True Church" is not.

The Bible says of the True Church:

Act 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, [which he hath purchased with his own blood].

Act 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

Act 20:30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

again:

Heb 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Heb 9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:

Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Peter tells us of this false religion:

1Pe 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that [ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers];

1Pe 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

You see this is the falseness of Satan that you can be redeemed by things of this Earth, the "corruptible things".

If you are not washed in the "Blood of Jesus" your home will be that burning lake of fire of the Book of Revelation.

To teach any other way is "APOSTACY" and the way of Satan.

Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, [let him be accursed].

**This Babylon the Great.

If we just take the name Babylon we can see why this word is in the Bible so often.

In some places we can find that this term "Babylon" means [confusion or mixture]

In another place we can find that this term "Babylon" means [gate of the gODS](notice that's little "g".

We can see again that the Holy Spirit has led us to the Book of Genesis:

Gen 10:8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

Gen 10:9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.

Gen 10:10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

Nimrod, this is the first of the World's rulers or at least a "want to be world ruler" as we still have them around in our day now.

This immediately caused confusion in the world just after the world wide flood. It does'nt take Satan long to get back to his agenda. It was Nimrod that tried to make Babel, now Babylon, the "gate of false gODS". We can see from this term "Babylon the Great" that the Bible is not mentioning Babylon at all but is telling us of that Apostate led Synagogue of Satan. This will be the churches under the umbrella of Satan that stems from the Laodicean church and will include all religions in the time of the Great Tribulation.

**The Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth:

We think of a "mother" as a woman that has and raises children. This the exact way this word is used in this verse. Then this "whore" (unfaithful to the word of God) has spawned many children that are:

1.) Harlots:

There is a difference between a harlot and a spiritual harlot.

Hos 4:11 Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart.

Hos 4:12 My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.

Hos 4:13 They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery.

***Hos 4:14 I will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your spouses when they commit adultery: [for themselves are separated with whores, and they sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people that doth not understand shall fall].

To be a spiritual harlot is much worse because it brings damnation.

To be a harlot can be forgiven!

1Co 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

1Co 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

1Co 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

2.) Abomination:

a.) To God an "abomination" is a thing of disgust:

Lev 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

b.) A detestable act:

Eze 22:11 And one hath committed abomination with his neighbour's wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father's daughter.

c.) A ceremonial pollution:

Gen 43:32 And they set on for him by himself, and for them by themselves, and for the Egyptians, which did eat with him, by themselves: because the Egyptians might not eat bread with the Hebrews; for that is an abomination unto the Egyptians.

d.) Especially when someone claims Christ and goes after Idols:

1Ki 11:5 For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.

1Ki 11:6 And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father.

1Ki 11:7 Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.

e.) Things offered to false gODS:

Zec 9:7 And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth: but he that remaineth, even he, shall be for our God, and he shall be as a governor in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.

Zec 9:8 And I will encamp about mine house because of the army, because of him that passeth by, and because of him that returneth: and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.

Pro 21:27 The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he bringeth it with a wicked mind?

f.) God makes it simple:

Pro 6:16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

Pro 6:17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

Pro 6:18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

Pro 6:19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

These and many more things are the children of the Harlot religion of Satan.

Our text:

*****Rev 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

Rev 17:7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

Who is this woman, this "mother" with such a reputation as this? Who is this woman that could get drunk on the death and destruction of the saints?

1.) She is called a "great whore".

2.) She rides a wild beast we know of as Satan.

3.) She is as a drunk.

4.) She is mysterious.

5.) She sits on seven mountains.

6.) She sits worldwide on peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues.

7.) She will be hated by the nations ruled by the Devil.

8.) She is a "City", a great city.

When God calls a nation a whore or a religion a whore or harlot He means they have left His Teaching!

Isa 1:4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

Forsaken: means Deserted; left; abandoned.

In other words at one time this whore would have worship the true God, Jehovah, The Lord. We know that Israel left Him at one time for "idolatry". They learned the error of this when the Lord gave them over to Nebuchadnezzar.

When we first began our study of the "Church Age" we also met another whore:

Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Jesus Christ is outside this church because they have forsaken Him. This the modern day liberal, so called church that is engulfing the modern world and trying to put all religions under one roof. This is the church that will endorse the Anti-Christ during the tribulation period, for they will not repent.

John marvelled at this thing that could look like royalty, act like royalty but be so full of hatred for the true God and His children!

Our text:

*****Rev 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

We know that it is the Anti-Christ that ascended out of the "bottomless pit"

Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

We know he will go to final destruction:

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

And all those that follow him. All those that reject Jesus Christ. To accept Him as Savior is the only way to have your name written in the "Lamb's book of life"!

1.) We know the Bible tells us of the Devil, Lucifer.

2.) We know that he has taken great pain to remain hidden behind his evilness all these years.

3.) There is no doubt that he exist.

Our text:

*****Rev 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

Rev 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

Rev 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

Rev 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

Rev 17:13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

Notice the Holy Spirit will always show us some wisdom from time to time to keep us on track.

Before we go further it should be known that there now at least 63 cities that claim to be built on "seven hills".

One writer writes these words:

"Building cities on seven hills has become a cultural unifying factor for societies across the world. Through open communication based on a common history peoples have come to understand the beauty of diversity and the strength of shared experience".

When we look to verse 15 we find that where this spiritual whore sits is actually the entire world at the time of the Great Tribulation. Which one of these cities will be the headquarters as such is yet to be known but her children, her harlots, her abominations are world wide at this time.

What we now witness in this verse is that Anti-Christ will break ranks with his own endorsed religion because we already know Satan worships hisself.

Daniel wrote:

Dan 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

Dan 11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

Dan 11:38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

Dan 11:39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

Our text:

*****Rev 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

The victory! There is no way to win a war against the Lamb of God!

Who is that with Him?

Rom 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

2Ti 2:4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

The Prophet says:

Isa 25:7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

Isa 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

Isa 25:9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Paul wrote:

1Co 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1Co 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Our text:

*****Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

We can see that this false religion has spread it self throughout the world. All nations, all languages, all peoples and all multitudes.

Our Text:

*****Rev 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

Rev 17:17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

Rev 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

Satan will destroy this false thing himself.

Let's see if we can see what Jesus saw:

Mat 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

1.) Jesus saw a great whore:

In Isaiah God called Israel a "whore", "harlot".

Isa 1:21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.

This term was used for Idolatry! When we turn away from God and others follow us because of this we are then "murderers" if these never turn to God for salvation!

God said this would all change one day:

Isa 1:25 And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:

Isa 1:26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.

Isa 1:27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.

Isa 1:28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.

Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Why do we see these things?

Isa 1:4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: [they have forsaken the LORD], they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

Many cities in the Bible have been openly called this name of God but now we have "Mystery" involved.

A "mystery" is: A profound secret; something wholly unknown or something kept cautiously concealed, and therefore exciting curiosity or wonder.

The Seven "Last" Plagues

Our Text:

Revelation Chapters 15-16

The final judgments God has chosen for this world will be truly horrible. We have been studying the time of the "Great Tribulation" This is the last three and one half years of the seven year tribulation period. The week prophesied by Daniel, God's prophet. The word of God told us in Rev 10:6 that there would be no more delay. Things will happen so fast that the Anti-Christ will lose control and it will take all the power of Satan to keep things in place as God gathers the armies of the entire world at a place called Armageddon. We've said before that Satan does not know the time but he does know exactly the place where Christ will return and the Bible is specific about the seven years of tribulation.

Why Jerusalem? God chose the battle field when He ascended back to Heaven. The world was told that very day where He would return. Yes it was a Holy God that chooses this battle field and He has His reasons. Personally I think He loves Gethsemane but He surely loves Zion.

This section will be on those last plagues and that word "last" tells us that there had to be some plagues that came before these, so these are not the same ones mentioned in earlier scripture.

It will be truly "horrible" time on this planet and God said all the heavens would shake. It will be the angels doing the preaching at this time. We can be sure that God's word will reach every individual soul. There is still time for anyone that will deny Satan, The Beast, The Image and the Mark.

Thank God for this time of "Grace" we call the Church Age. The Church will not endure one moment of the tribulation period. We will watch from Heaven. If you will accept Jesus Christ as your "Saviour" and be washed in His Blood that He spilled at the Cross, you will also miss out on this period of time no matter who you are or where you live.

"Red and Yellow, Black and White, THEY ARE PRECIOUS IN HIS SIGHT"!

1Jn 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

1Jn 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

1Jn 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

1Jn 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

1Jn 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.

Our text:

*****Rev 15:1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

Satan may have a few miracles, (most of them fakes) on this Earth but the heavenly skies where the stars, the sun and the moon are located will be filled with the miracles and wonders of God during this period of time at the end.

John said that these are "great" and "marvelous":

Some of the other ways this word "Great" is used in the Bible are: Loud, greatest, high, large, exceedingly, mighty, and strong.

This Greek word "haumastos", translated "marvelous" is used exactly seven times in the Bible.

What we can see is that those that remain on Earth will be able to see these great things and they will know that Satan not the Anti-Christ are the source of them. Satan knows his doom is near.

That phrase "filled up" means: The completion. It means God is about to bring this thing to a close. The wrath of God will be complete except for what happens at the end of the Millennium and the White Throne Judgment which is "not wrath" but "righteous judgment. There is a difference in the "wrath" of God and His "judgment".

Our text:

*****Rev 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

We first see this place in the Book of Exodus:

Exo 24:10 And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.

Then in Ezekiel:

Eze 1:22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.

Then in Revelation:

Rev 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.

This is the Throne Room of the Lord our God!

You don't get to this place unless you have gotten victory over Satan and all his beast. You will never have victory until you meet and accept Jesus Christ as your saviour!

Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

These had gotten victory over:

1.) The Beast (a dangerous animal)

2.) His Image (anything that resembled this dangerous animal)

3.) His Mark (anything that reminded them of this dangerous animal)

4.) The Number of his Name (and they no longer could be counted as his prey)

1Co 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1Co 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Our text:

*****Rev 15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

The "song of Moses" was sung by the Israelite after they escaped Pharaoh's army:

Exo 15:1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

Exo 15:2 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.

The "song of the Lamb" was sung by the Church, (Elders) after the Lamb had taken the seven sealed scroll:

Rev 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

Rev 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

These are both songs of victory!

Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Just and True are the ways of God. He is the God of the Bible. He can only do as He says He will do! God does not second guess Himself. He just KNOWS!

So the Praising will continue forever!

Our text:

*****Rev 15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

When we study the Bible we find that God speaks to three different people. Now if you add all these groups up you will see that God speaks to everybody in the world. But this word "fear"

can be understood best if we look at it from the Bible point of view.

The Bible says:

1Co 10:32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

The Definition of Fear:

The Greek word "phobeo" is translated to the English word "fear".

The meaning of this word is: To frighten or to be alarmed, To be in awe of or to revere or reverence, and to be afraid of, exceeding fear.

1.) So to the Jew He says:

To be frightened and alarmed!

2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

2.) To the Church He says:

To be in awe and to reverence!

Eph 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Eph 5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

3.) To the Gentile (everyone else in the world) He says!

Be afraid, with exceeding fear! This is an Almighty God!

Luk 8:25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

Why "glorify" the name of this Holy God?

The Bible says:

To the Church.

Psa 79:9 Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.

Psa 79:10 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by the revenging of the blood of thy servants which is shed.

To the Jew.

Psa 106:6 We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.

Psa 106:7 Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.

Psa 106:8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

To the World:

Isa 66:4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

This is why the judgments are made known to us all. God will not allow His great name to be abused by Satan, the Devil, or His followers, The Jews and Not Even and Especially the Church.

There are also some that say God would never be called King of the Saints. At this time of the happening in the Book of Revelation the Church has been in Heaven since the end of the Church age. They will return with Him at the end of the Tribulation period, no longer the Bride but the Wife of Christ. There will be many "saints" during the tribulation period and many that will serve Him during the Millennial Kingdom. Christ will sit as King during this time. He will be the King of the Saints and "He is my King "now" and I will love Him forever more".

Even Sarah called Abraham "lord".

Gen 18:12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, [my lord being old also]?

Our text:

*****Rev 15:5 And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:

Rev 15:6 And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.

We know that the Temple of Solomon and the Tabernacle of Moses were designed according to patterns that are in Heaven.

Heb 8:4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:

Heb 8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

This "temple of the tabernacle" is most assuredly what we would call the Holy of Holies. The first thing we notice is that there is no "veil". John is looking into the Most Holy Place there is in God's creation. It seems sad that these last most horrible plagues originate from inside this place. It shows us the sincerity of this final judgment on the Earth and it's people.

We can also see that these seven angels are also dressed in the same pattern as was given to Moses for those that served in the Tabernacle as Priests. These are the "Ministers of Divine Judgment". This order and last judgment came from a "Just and Righteous and Holy God". When we go forward we will see that the "Bride" will also be dressed this way, so we can see the seriousness of God here in judgment.

Lev 16:4 He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be attired: these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on.

The "golden girdle" tells us that these angels represent the King, the Coming King!

Our text:

*****Rev 15:7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.

These "vials" are what we would call bowls. When they are poured out they will pour freely and quickly not like out of a pitcher or a glass.

The "wrath of God" will pour out freely, unrestricted, and quickly as things will go out in a fast pace from these seven angels.

Psa 7:6 Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.

All the other plagues are pale compared to these plagues.

Moses said:

Deu 9:19 For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also.

King David knew something about God's displeasure:

Psa 6:1 O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

Psa 6:2 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

Psa 6:3 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?

Psa 6:4 Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.

Psa 6:5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

Our text:

*****Rev 15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

We have seen this cloud many times in the Bible:

Back in the Exodus:

Num 9:15 And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning.

Num 9:16 So it was alway: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night.

Num 9:17 And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents.

We can see that God is on the move to lead His People to Eternal life.

Exo 40:34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

We can see that that cloud represents the Glory of the Lord.

1Ki 8:10 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,

1Ki 8:11 So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

We can see that the Glory of the Lord has filled this house in Heaven.

Psa 18:6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

Psa 18:7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.

Psa 18:8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

Psa 18:9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.

Psa 18:10 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.

Psa 18:11 He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.

Psa 18:12 At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.

Psa 18:13 The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.

Psa 18:14 Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them.

Psa 18:15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.

We can see the Lord Our God is in His final preparation for battle.

Isa 4:3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:

Isa 4:4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

Isa 4:5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.

Isa 4:6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

The Lord God of Heaven will be that hedge of protection for those He loves in the Battle of Armageddon!

Our text:

*****Rev 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

Rev 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

We are to know that this command came from the Most Holy Spot in God's Creation and from God our Lord Himself. You see it is this righteous God that sits on the Throne in Heaven and it is He that controls what happens in this world.

The Prophet said:

Joe 2:30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

Joe 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

Joe 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Jesus Christ said:

Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

The most horrible of times on Earth are about to happen. This time will be shortened by the Lord but these things will come quick. One on top of the other with no time between each occurrence.

"Noisome" means bad or evil.

"Grievous" means painful.

These sores will be instant, open, painful sores, open ulcers that will not heal. I have had a bout with cancer and I believe these will be like cancer that stays on the outside of the body until they consume the individual. It will be a horrible evil plague.

Will you be one that have these words?

Psa 38:5 My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.

Our text:

*****Rev 16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

We must remember several things here:

1.) A world wide food supply has just been cut off.

2.) Shipping that carried other food stuff just perished.

3.) All those armies of the Anti-Christ just lost all Naval and the Air supplies on those military ships.

There are those that wonder why only the armies are mentioned at Armageddon can now see that there will be no Naval Power that lives through this plague.

The Blood of a dead man:

At the very moment of death the heart stops beating and the lungs stop breathing. This means that the cells in the

body will no longer receive blood and oxygen. Since the blood is no longer being pumped through the body it will drain from the blood vessels at the top of the body and collect in the blood vessels on the lower part of the body. The upper part of the body will become pale and the lower part of the body will become dark. At this point most of the cells in the body are still not dead. While the brain cells die in the first few minutes after the heart stops, muscle cells can live for several hours and skin and bone cells can stay alive for days because they live through anaerobic respiration. The life giving power of that blood has ceased.

Lev 17:11 [For the life of the flesh is in the blood]: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

But Jesus Christ said:

Joh 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

You see the world has rejected the life giving blood of Jesus so the world will now see the "lifeless blood of the dead man".

Our text:

*****Rev 16:4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

Rev 16:5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

Rev 16:6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

Rev 16:7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

If we refer back to verse one we can see that these vials could all be poured out only on those with the mark of the beast and I believe that will be true. We know God will protect any that have not chosen that mark but there will not be many if any places of good drinking water. Again this world rejected the blood of Christ and this world will now see blood everywhere.

Even the angels say this is a righteous judgment! But notice also there must be special angels assigned in charge of different facets of God's creation. This was the "angel of the waters". You see all the forces of nature are under God's control.

God is a righteous God, He cannot do unrighteous things!

Another angel at the altar responds. This angel has seen the sacrifice and could even be that sacrifice that was made for every soul in the entire world. These that have refused are certainly worthy of this plague.

Without water:

Although two thirds of the human body by weight is composed of water, this water is needed for circulation and other bodily processes including respiration and converting food to energy. If you are losing more water than you are taking in, dehydration will occur. It has been shown that if you lose just 2.5% of your body weight from water loss, you will loose 25% of your efficiency. For a 175 pound man that is only about two quarts of water. As the survivor dehydrates, his blood becomes thicker and loses volume. This causes the heart to work harder and circulation of blood to be less efficient. In a survival situation, loosing a full one quarter of your physical and mental abilities due to dehydration could mean the end of your life. This can happen in one day.

Jesus Christ said:

Joh 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Joh 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

Our text:

*****Rev 16:8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

Rev 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

No ocean to swim in. No lake, or pond or even a bath. No water to drink. How long can those soft drinks hold out.

What are we seeing here?

1.) Tremendous heat. [The flesh will be scorched].

2.) Solar flares cause power grids to fail.[No electricity]

3.) Solar flares cause satellites to malfunction [No communication]

4.) Solar flares cause the mighty AirForce of the Anti-Christ to cease!

NASA says about such things:

National power grids could overheat and air travel severely disrupted while electronic items, navigation devices and major satellites could stop working after the Sun reaches its maximum power in a few years.

Senior space agency scientists believe the Earth will be hit with unprecedented levels of magnetic energy from solar flares after the Sun wakes from a deep slumber sometime around 2013.

In a new warning, Nasa said the super storm would hit like a bolt of lightning and could cause catastrophic consequences for the world health, emergency services and national security unless

precautions are taken.

Scientists believe it could damage everything from emergency services systems, hospital equipment, banking systems and air traffic control devices, through to everyday items such as home computers, iPods and Sat Navs.

Due to humans heavy reliance on electronic devices, which are sensitive to magnetic energy, the storm could leave a multi-billion pound damage bill and potentially devastating problems for governments.

We know it is coming but we don know how bad it is going to be, Dr Richard Fisher, the director of Nasa's Heliophysics division, said in an interview with The Daily Telegraph.

It will disrupt communication devices such as satellites and car navigations, air travel, the banking system, our computers, everything that is electronic. It will cause major problems for the world.

Large areas will be without electricity power and to repair that damage will be hard as that takes time.

Dr Fisher added: Systems will just not work. The flares change the magnetic field on the earth that is rapid and like a lightning bolt. That is the solar affect.

We can see that even the secular world predicts things that the Bible says will happen and the Bible was written more than two thousand years ago.

Our text:

*****Rev 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

Rev 16:11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Have you ever been in darkness that seemed so thick that you could feel it. It happened in Egypt and it will happen again this day of the fifth angel!

Exo 10:21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, [even darkness which may be felt].

Exo 10:22 And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:

Exo 10:23 They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

We can notice that the children of Israel were not affected and we can see from our verse this darkness was poured out on the seat of the beast. In other words what ever governmental control this Anti-Christ had would be in this thick darkness. His entire military would be in the dark. Now we know his Navy is destroyed. His AirForce can't fly. His Missiles have no guidance system that will work and now his Army is in the dark. When I was in the military it took at least some starlight for our night vision equipment to work. I believe this high tech military that is on this battle field of Armageddon will be left in shambles because man's technology cannot work against a wrathful God. This two hundred mile long column of Army will die and the blood will flow and it will be deep. Over 200,000,000 soldiers that we know of will die just about at one time. Remember Gideon. With three hundred men and God, he went to war and the enemy destroyed itself.

Notice they are already in heavy pain for their sores which have no cure and will kill them also. They are biting their tongues. Their only relief is that baking sun is not powering down on them but they cannot even see each other for the darkness.

They curse the Almighty God because they know who caused these things to happen. Not one will repent!

Our text:

*****Rev 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

Rev 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Rev 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

We know that Japan is known as the land of the rising sun. China, Korea and other powers would come from this direction. They have no means except by land to travel. The Euphrates River is Aprox 1800 mile long and 300 to 1200 yards wide and 20 to 60 feet deep. This has been an obstacle to all militaries from the beginning of time. God Himself will make a way for this Army to join the Beast.

Jer 51:36 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her springs dry.

Jer 51:37 And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwellingplace for dragons, an astonishment, and an hissing, without an inhabitant.

Jer 51:38 They shall roar together like lions: they shall yell as lions' whelps.

Jer 51:39 In their heat I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the LORD.

Jer 51:40 I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with he goats.

God will dry up this river so this Army will not be late. You see God has not changed and He will not change. God has used "evil spirits" before to lead Armies to their downfall.

1Ki 22:19 And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

1Ki 22:20 And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.

1Ki 22:21 And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.

1Ki 22:22 And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.

1Ki 22:23 Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.

You see Satan knows that Jesus will stand on the Mount of Olives at any moment. He said He would come right after the darkness. This battle is not really with Israel. Satan, The Beast has every weapon he can muster to try to kill Christ Jesus as He approaches.

Isa 60:2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

Joe 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

Joe 2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

Mar 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

Mar 13:25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

Mar 13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

The Prophet said:

Joe 3:9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:

Joe 3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.

Joe 3:11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.

Joe 3:12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.

The Lord has this Army exactly where He wants them:

Psa 2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

Psa 2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

Psa 2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

Psa 2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

Psa 2:5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

Psa 2:6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

And He says to John:

*****Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Can you just imagine these horrible conditions. This mighty Army of the Beast headed to Jerusalem and Satan knowing The Almighty God is fixing to step down from on High.

Our text:

*****Rev 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Armageddon means "Mount of Megiddo". This is the plain Jezreel. The valley or plain of Megiddo was part of the plain of Esdraelon, the great battle-field of Palestine. It is 200 miles long and ten miles wide and at this time of the tribulation it will contain all the armies of the existing world.

Rev 14:20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

Our text:

*****Rev 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

Rev 16:18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

Rev 16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

Rev 16:20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

Rev 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

"It is done"!

When Jesus Christ paid the supreme price while hanging on that cross He said "It is finished". He finished paying the redemption for our souls.

Now when He sets His feet down on the Mount of Olives the judgment of the Earth will be done!

Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

When this seventh vial is poured out the world will see the greatest chaos that could be imagined or really it cannot be imagined.

Psa 102:25 Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

Psa 102:26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

Psa 102:27 But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.

Psa 102:28 The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.

Isa 51:6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

Heb 12:25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

Heb 12:26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

The Apostle Peter put it this way:

2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

2Pe 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

The Children of Israel used to sing this song. Did they believe it?

Psa 50:3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

Psa 50:4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

The prophet wrote:

Hag 2:6 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;

Hag 2:7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.

There is a verse in the Bible that most all believers of the "Gap Theory" use proof their theory. This verse by the Prophet Jeremiah belongs right here:

Jer 4:23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

Jer 4:24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

Jer 4:25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

Jer 4:26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.

Jer 4:27 For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

Jer 4:28 For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.
