The Beginning of Marriage

Book of Genesis

Chapter 1 Verses 26-31; Chapter 2

The Beginning of Mankind

It amazes me that you have to find an old dictionary to get the definition of man unless you have a Bible.

Man is described as a human being, distinguished from animals. (There are no in-betweens)

Mankind means the human race as distinguished from animals.

We did not evolve from some animal!

If you believe in evolution then by definition you do not fall into the category of being a human, because you believe you are some animal or some other creature in transition to become some other creature.

No one in their right mind should fall for this so-called science!

Listen as our Heavenly Father describes our creation.

*****Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

In the first half of the sixth day God had created all the land-based animals and yes this included the now called dinosaurs which for the most part, are all extinct along with many other animals that are not classified as dinosaurs.

In the last half of the sixth day our Father's greatest creation "man" is created. A total separate creation from all animals and from all other creatures!

When we look around our entire environment, we see some amazing things in our universe, but what we should know is that all these things were and are created for God's greatest creation, human beings!

God spoke all things into existence, but we should understand that human beings are handmade, each one a little different from each other.

Man is God's crowning achievement! When we look at the great galaxies and other things in the night sky, we wonder why we say this thing, but it is still true.

Humans are the only creatures that can live with our Creator if we follow His commandments!

It is God's plans for man that caused Lucifer to rebel, because he believed he was God's crowning achievement and the angels, but he was so wrong.

Job_7:17 What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him?

Psa_144:3 LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!

Ecc_6:11 Seeing there be many things that increase vanity, what is man the better?

It is our Creator who decided that man or mankind, would be made in His image.

It is our Creator who decided that mankind, would have dominion over all life upon this place called earth.

It is our Creator who decided that He would abide and live amongst those humans who believed on Him!

Our Heavenly Father held a counsel with Himself, His Son and His Spirit (Let Us) in regard to the creation of mankind.

It does not say this was done for any part of all His other creations.

In this thing are we created in the image of God!

1) Man has a mind and a heart that can connect to our Creator.

2) God breathed into the nostrils of man to place God's own thoughts into man.

3) God gave man dominion over all other life on this planet called earth.

God is Spirit so He is invisible, we cannot have the appearance of our Heavenly Father!

Joh_4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

We are in the image of God in our creation, not in our physical image!

It is God who took on our image when He came as Jesus, to provide a means of salvation.

Php 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Php 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

*****Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Just what does it mean "to be created in the image of God"?

Man is of this earth, but man is also of God.

Man is of this physical world, but man is also of the spiritual world. (Man is flesh, but he is also spirit)

Man is related to the animal world by his physical make up, but man is related to God by his spirit.

In man, both flesh and spirit are brought together to represent both Earth and Heaven

Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

It is our spiritual side that must believe the truth!

1Co 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

1Co 3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

1Co 3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

It is our flesh that causes us our greatest problems!

Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

We exist only because God as a purpose and a plan for us!

Only mankind is created to live in immortality and God spends most all the Bible teaching us what eternal life is all about for those who love Him and for those who hate Him.

**Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Gen 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Gen 1:30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

Gen 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

God said that these six days had yielded very good results!

We have seen so far that Elohim is a God of order and not a God of chaos!

We should remember our Creator knows us better than we know ourselves!

*****Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

God used six of our twenty-four days to create all things and then He declared a rest.

Was God tired? No, that rest is declared for the human beings he has created.

To rest was to be the first lesson we were to learn

The hosts of the heavens we can see, are the stars, the planets, our Sun and our Moon and it includes the comets and all other God made things in our heavens visible and invisible.

The hosts of the Heaven of Heavens are also the angels, who are also created beings, who also live eternally, but they do not have a soul and they cannot be filled with the Holy Spirit.

They were created to minister to God's creation!

Heb 1:10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

Heb 1:11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

Heb 1:12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

Heb 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

Heb 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

God rested from creating on the seventh day and God blessed the seventh day and sanctified the seventh day to make it holy.

Most all the Bible was written by the Hebrew men, but all Scripture was written under the direction of the Holy Spirit.

2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Under Hebrew tradition, this day is called the Sabbath Day.

In reality, God said we need to rest from our labors every seven days and that day would be a good day to spend with Him.

For the Church that seventh day is on Sunday, simply because of the Lord Jesus Christ and the New Testament, the New Covenant as opposed to the Old Covenant.

We must remember we are under the "New Covenant"!

We worship on the Lord's day which is the day the Lord Jesus arose from that grave. John wrote:

Rev_1:10 I was in the Spirit on "the Lord's day", and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

Sunday, the first day of the week on the Hebrew calendar

Joh 20:19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

Joh 20:26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

The eighth day would again be Sunday the first day of the Hebrew week.

Act 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

This communion was on Sunday, the first day of the Hebrew week.

1Co 16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

The collection for the Church happened when the people gathered on Sunday, the first day of the Hebrew week.

To many of us today, Monday is the first day of the week because we for many years considered it the first day of the work week.

Sadly, the world runs seven days of the week and it is taking its toll upon the people of the world.

It is also taking its toll upon our world!

There is more of everything that is bad, and one of the main reasons is because we do not rest as God commanded!

God said we need a rest, so we do!

God said we need some Spiritual guidance, and you had better believe we do!

We need these things seven days each week and God's people need to gather, "to encourage each other" even more often as we see these last days approaching.

Heb 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Heb 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

God sanctified this seventh day. Which means we are to set it apart from the other six days and just sit at the feet of Jesus!

Let God Himself describe how He created "mankind".

*****Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Just like the land-based animals, man is made from the materials of this earth.

Ecc_3:20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

Ecc_12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Psa 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Psa 139:15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

Psa 139:16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

Then we see the differences of man and animal.

Job 33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

It is that "God breathed" spirit than man has, and the animals do not have!

If we were not made of the dust of the ground, then we could not get any nourishment and many other things from the animal world and the plant world that is around us.

We breath the same air and partake of many of the same things that God provides.

It is the unity of nature that allows us to live in harmony with nature!

There is a great difference in the spirit of man and the spirit of animals. All of us have said that a horse without spirit is not much of a horse, but the spirit of man is something entirely different.

Ecc 3:21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?

We should see that the spirit of man belongs to our Creator and remains in His control!

One man wrote:

"The difference of destination does not make itself manifest to the senses. To all outward appearance the dissolution of the man and of the beast is exactly the same kind of thing; the human being does not appear to have any per-eminence in this respect over the mere animal".

Now, all these circumstances and appearances put men to the proof; they test men as to whether they will allow themselves to sink down into a mare animal, selfish life, or whether they will follow those Divine inspirations which link them to God, beckon them to righteousness, and point them to immortality.

The spirit that our Creator gives us is our connection to our Creator that the animal world and even the plant world does not have!

God has given us the privilege of immortality and the freedom to choose. Animals do not have these things!

Now do not get me wrong, most all animals have the ability to choose many things but none of them have the ability to make choices about eternal life!

It is the choices that we as mankind make that determine so many things while we live in this flesh, and that future eternal life that our Creator has given to us.

Our Creator expects us all to choose to spend eternity with Him, but He will not ever force us to make this choice. There is an alternative, but it is not a very good one!

Most all the Bible concerns these two choices!

We should next understand that when it comes to man, our Creator expects us to work.

*****Gen 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

Gen 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

A garden is a cultivated place for plants to grow. This Garden of Eden was a place that would meet all the nourishment requirements for man, and we had better believe this place also had a flower garden intermingled amongst those plants that were needed for food.

There was actually very little work to do here in this garden, but there was some.

Water was not a problem because our Creator provided an irrigation system.

Gen 2:6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

Our Creator designed into this Garden, this "paradise" some things that cause man to choose.

All our life we have to make choices and we must realize we must learn from our mistakes.

Some mistakes are very painful!

We will soon see that first man was named Adam and Adam was given the first choice and that first thing was obedience.

Our Creator, our God requires obedience!

Keeping that train of thought in our minds, God placed a means of "temptation" into this beautiful garden that required very little work, and as long as Adam was alone, he was obedient.

The beautiful paradise was also the home of Adam. There is nothing man-made that can compare to the Garden of Eden in beauty or as a residence.

Luk 12:27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Luk 12:28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?

*****Gen 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

The greatest challenge we all face is the challenge we have in being obedient to the Word of God!

In fact much of the world do not believe we have a Creator and this I cannot understand at all.

Everything in evolution depends upon accident which is chaos!

If God had not created in the specific order that He has given to us, there could be no humans in existence.

If animals did not breed of their own kind, there would be no animals.

God is a Creator of order and not of chaos!

Again the work Adam had to do was simply to keep the Garden.

One definition of "to keep" is to retain the power of possession.

We will soon see this was Adams greatest sin! Adam lost the possession of God's creation to Satan.

To do this thing he needed only to obey the Word of God.

In reality we will find that Adam gave up possession of the Garden to Satan and it took a great cost for our Creator to regain this possession.

We may never understand the love our God, our Creator has for His creation!

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Here comes obedience.

*****Gen 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

We should immediately see that this Book we call the Bible is not a Book of Suggestions.

The Bible is a Book of Great Detail and it is a Book of the Commands of our Creator God who is Elohim from chapter one and verse one.

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

That word god is such a generic word that we should use the names of God much of the time.

There are many gods but there is only one Elohim and He said Himself, His name was Jehovah. (Yahweh with Hebrew vowels)

Isa_45:21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.

Isa_43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

Isa_45:5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

Exo_6:3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

None of these things have changed, nor will they ever change!

Adam could eat of anything in the Garden to Eden except from this one tree.

It was the tree of "the knowledge of good and evil" which means in reality it was the tree of temptation.

It would have been best if we never learned evil!

All Adam saw around him was life and we can believe that he probably did not understand that word death at all.

It does not say the fruit of this tree was any more beautiful than the fruit of any other tree.

It only says Adam was not to eat the fruit from this tree.

In fact, not many today understand what God means when He uses that word "death".

In fact, it really has nothing to do with our life and death cycle.

God was referring to the death of that breathed in spirit which is the soul of man!

Rom 2:2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.

Rom 2:3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

Rom 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Rom 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

Rom 2:6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

Rom 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

Rom 2:8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

Rom 2:9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

Rom 2:10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

Rom 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

Our Creator only had one commandment and that commandment is just simply obey the Word of God! The same commandment we have today.

Indignation and wrath through eternal death of the soul, to all those who cannot obey what God has said!

Then our Creator said: it is not a good thing that Adam was the only human upon the face of the earth.

It was not good, because all the plants and all the animals were being fruitful and multiplying and the numbers were growing tremendously.

*****Gen 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Notice again that this is something that God decided Himself.

Creating a man was taken in counsel with God the Son and God the Holy Spirit and man was made after their image.

God the Father decided the man needed a "help meet". We could say that a "help meet" would be someone like man in many ways but also separate from man in many ways.

The fact that God does not create in-betweens has been proven in all six days that God created all things.

This "help meet" would be someone who could help man through life and follow the directive to multiply and furnish the earth with those like themselves.

Why was it not good for man to be alone?

Gen 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

Gen 2:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

The angels were more than could be counted. Angels were to be ministers of God's creation.

We can see that Adam was created with great intelligence and he would never question his Creator.

The animals were beginning to reproduce and multiply.

Adam did not have any living creature on the same rank as himself. Adam was more alone than any of us could ever imagine.

Adam needed someone who would be an aide to him, but this someone also had to be separate from Him.

Adam was incomplete until God made woman!

As we study the Word of God, we will see that God had written all these things down well before He created anything, so this was not something that was overlooked.

Much, if not all the Bible teaches us the thinking pattern of our God, Elohim!

God begins in the Book of the Beginnings, allowing us to know His thoughts and why He does what He does.

God does not keep many secrets. In fact I know of only one that is somethings that will happen during the Great Tribulation that He does not want His children to be concerned about.

Obviously, we do not know a whole lot about Heaven, but we do know that it is more beautiful than anything upon this earth.

1Co_2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Other than these things God reads like an open book of just how wonderful our Creator truly is and just how much He loves us, His greatest creation.

We can actually say that the true Bible is a love letter from our Creator, Elohim.

How does God explain His creation of woman?

*****Gen 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

Gen 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Gen 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Note to surgeons: It is best to put man asleep before major surgery is performed!

Adam did not know of sin at this time.

God decided that Adam did not need to know about pain at this time.

We all wish we never knew anything about pain, and we would not have, if sin had not entered into the world.

There is a new day coming when we will not know pain, at least all those who love the Lord God Elohim.

Remember man is made different from the animals.

Many, many things that Adam had that this woman would also need.

Many things that Adam had should remain in him.

Many things this woman would need would not be needed by Adam.

I must emphasize God does not make mistakes. There had to be a complete separation of many things, but the core of this woman is that she would also be human.

Animals would have multiple partners, but it was not intended for the humans to be so.

Far different from the animal world just as Adam was.

She would still have that spiritual feeling of need because it was given by her Creator!

Mankind must still reign as supreme over all the animal world.

There would also be a hierarchy set up by God in responsibility and God would hold the man responsible for the woman that He had created, but Adam was not to dominate her.

We could say woman was created to allow man to have closeness.

They could feel a closeness to each other and they each could feel a closeness to our Creator, our God, yet both are separate individuals!

Woman was created equal to man in being and in person in every respect! Physically, mentally, and spiritually she was taken out of God greatest creation, man.

We must remember that God is a God of order and not a God of chaos.

1Co 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

1Co 11:7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

1Co 11:8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

1Co 11:9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

1Co 11:10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

1Co 11:11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.

1Co 11:12 For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.

Eph 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

Eph 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Eph 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Eph 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

How did Adam understand these things?

Adam clearly understood that this lovely creature that was now beside him was a piece of him and Adam felt more whole than he had ever felt since the day God had made him.

Adam accepted her and cherished her.

Adam did not feel superior to this woman.

Adam felt that he now had a partner.

Adam felt that this woman was his equal, but her functions were certainly different than his.

Adam fell in love at first site.

Adam's love for God increased and he now had a new love in his life!

God instilled in Adam the truth of a marriage:

*****Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

We should be very clear! Our Creator establish the family unit as the first institution of society!

All government that would come later was to be established according to the protection of the family unit.

It is the family that is to be the model for the Church.

The Church is to be modeled after a family with Christ at the head.

Therefore our Creator establishes the importance of marriage between one man and one woman and the family unit!

Amen

Created From Nothing

The Beginning of Creation

Book of Genesis Chapter 1 Verses 1-25

The Book of Genesis or better said the Book of Beginnings.

If it began then it began just as it is written in the Book of the Beginnings!

The Bible has only one story and it is the story of God and man!

The Bible has only One main character and that person is the Lord Jesus Christ!

We could stand and argue about the oldest books ever written.

We know the Book of Job as an old book maybe the oldest.

There are old books from Babylonia that tell some things about creation.

There are other books that tell about the flood.

There are many books that tell us of things, some true and some just old wife’s tales.

There is not another Book in existence like the Bible, and there is certainly no greater book ever written that tells us about our beginnings in a way that is easy to understand.

The Book of Genesis opens up by teaching us about our creation and our purpose.

 No guesswork.

No lies.

Just a Creator and His creation!

 The truth of life!

*****Gen 1:1  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

We should begin by asking ourselves, "what is eternity"? Eternity is a place without time.

You see Elohim (God) lives in eternity. Elohim is a plural form of Elohi, " which does not mean many gods but as we learn "One God" in three persons.

God the Heavenly Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We need to understand this from the "Beginning"!

Elohim, the Almighty, All Powerful, the Living God.

It is only by Elohim that creation took place.

That "beginning", is our beginning not the beginning of Elohim who lives in eternity.

What does this Almighty, All Powerful God do? He "creates". He is the Master of "life"!

To create means He called things into existence that had never existed before.

He created our universe (Cosmos) out of nothing.

He created the heavens from nothing.

There is no one then nor now who has this ability, even though some claim it.

 The key word is "nothing".

Elohim just speaks and things take place. This is what our Creator does.

Those who try to create today must use something that God has already created to get started. A big difference.

There are certainly many intelligent people, but they lack "the power" to create!

The Bible then is a portrait of human history after we had our beginning!

Some people get confused about this, but Heaven did not exist.

Again Elohim lives in eternity and does not need a place to live.

We need to understand. God does what God wants to do anytime God wants to do it!

Isa 46:8  Remember this, and shew yourselves men: bring it again to mind, O ye transgressors.

Isa 46:9  Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,

Isa 46:10  Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

He is just a loving God full of "Mercy And Grace"!

By the order it is written, we know that Elohim created Heaven out of nothing before He created Earth out of nothing!

God then decided to shower His creation with "Love"!

It is this Elohim, God in three persons, who declared to us all that He is our Creator!

If we as humans had any sense at all, we would listen to what our Creator has to say.

As we go through the Bible, we will see that God refers to us as sheep. Not because they are not a clean animal, but simply because they are the dumbest animal in all creation.

You can train fleas, but you cannot train sheep to do very much.

The most important training you can do to a sheep is to get them to follow their Shepherd whose job it is to keep them safe.

We cannot live without our Creator!

So, let us see about this earth.

*****Gen 1:2  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Every time I read about God’s creation; I think about that farmer who has a piece of land that he is willing to work to make productive.

Does this mean that God's creation began in chaos absolutely not!

What God is saying is, He first created the "matter" from which all life has its beginnings.

Matter is the material which occupies space!

Matter is the material that we can acknowledge because of our senses.

Matter makes itself known by its properties.

It can be said that the ultimate reason for all movement in our Cosmos is the force that God gave it at the beginning of creation.

These things are clearly scene by all people, even so-called scientist who reject these things, simply because they would have to acknowledge that there is a Supernatural Being.

Rom 1:19  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

Rom 1:20  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Rom 1:21  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

God set these things in place, but they were never to be eternal. God has a much greater plan than what we see here.

It is those invisible things where we can see the power of God, the architect of life.

The Holy Spirit moved, but the hands used belonged to the Messiah!

Joh 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Joh 1:2  The same was in the beginning with God.

Joh 1:3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Joh 1:4  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Joh 1:5  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

The "Word" is our "Messiah" not only our "Maker", but also that "Light" that overcomes spiritual darkness!

We can say that each individual human is matter that is molded into form by our Creator, and He made each one of us a little different from each other.

Every created being was made to give glory to our Creator!

Every created being was given a purpose by our Creator!

Everything that has life was given that life by our Creator!

Every created object was made to give glory to God!

At the very beginning there was no life!

At this first step of creation there was no life, but these things had to be created to bring forth life.

Job 9:8  Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea.

Job 9:9  Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.

Job 9:10  Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.

Remember the farmer, he has to prepare the land for life.

We must also understand that the power of God is demonstrated by the actions of the Holy Spirit.

When the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) moves things happen, according to the thoughts and the words of our Heavenly Father.

 It was dark!

A world without life would be very dark!

Every time a child is aborted our world gets a little bit darker!

Every time some innocent person falls victim to the murderer our world gets a little darker!

Notice we start getting the truth of Elohim, as the Spirit of God makes a move upon the face of the deep.

We can understand this word "deep" to mean waters.

The "deep" are the seas, the waters, the oceans.

Isa 40:12  Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?

Isa 40:13  Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him?

Isa 40:14  With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?

Isa 40:15  Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.

We now have the soil, "the matter", covered with water, and the next thing the farmer needs is "Light".

We must not be fooled, "Light" is a creation of God!

Our spiritual "Light" is the Lord Jesus Christ who part of the Triune God!

*****Gen 1:3  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Gen 1:4  And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Gen 1:5  And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Time as we know it today has just begun.

As we go on, we will see the Sun and the Moon and the Stars a little later which means "Light" is a separate creation.

The truth is there are stars in our Universe today that their light has not yet reached this earth.

It amazes me that new stars claim to be discovered that have been there all along, their light just now reaching our eyes.

Scientists are so foolish; they know these things, yet they claim a new discovery every time.

God said, "let there be Light".

"Light" is a good thing, so we immediately see the spiritually speaking "darkness" is a bad thing.

We need the darkness, as opposed to without light, to moderate the temperature of our earth!

We do not need "spiritual darkness" which is sin!

We have never needed sinful darkness, yet we must all go through temptation.

God has now created the twenty-four, hour day.

Throughout the Bible we will see that the Israelites keep the day as it is written in the Book of Genesis.

The day begins in the evening (around six) and goes twenty-four hours to the next evening.

The evening and the morning were the very first day.

Most of the rest of the world begin a day at midnight and go twenty-four hours to the next midnight designated AM and PM.

We should completely understand that Elohim is creating an environment especially suited to humans and it was a good thing in His eyes.

End of day one, the very first "twenty-four" hour day and almost every day since that time has been for twenty-four hours except for a couple of days when God altered them, and those days are written down for us in the Bible and some true scientist have proven this to be true.

*****Gen 1:6  And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

Gen 1:7  And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

Gen 1:8  And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

The firmament is that expanse above us that we call the heavens. The Bible describes three separate parts of heaven.

The atmosphere that is the source of our breathable air and where the birds fly is the first heaven.

The remainder of what we can see, the home of the stars and moons and the entire solar system and galaxies would be a part of the second heaven.

Then there is the unseen realm of our Heavenly Father which is the third Heaven. The Heaven of heavens!

The word firmament gives us the idea broad plates of metal beaten into thin plates and polished to shine like the stars do shine and such as a mirror.

Job 37:18  Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?

How is Heaven described in many passages?

Exo 24:10  And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.

Then come the dividing of waters.

That water above the firmament is not the material of the stars, but the material of the clouds.

This is what we now call the hydrologic cycle.

Ecc_1:7  All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.

I personally believe it was different before the world-wide flood than it is today, but it is still the way our water is continuously purified.

The water below the firmament is our oceans which are another mechanism to purify our waters and our air and our fresh water, but there is also our underground water table, which helps to moderate the temperature of our Earth.

There is so much information about creation, it is a study in itself that we cannot cover in these short lessons.

We should understand that we breath God's air and drink God's water and it is we the people who pollute both these sources that are tied to our good health.

God made a way fight our pollution, but we could do more to help these things ourselves!

Why have life spans become shorter over time? We have not been good stewards of the things our Creator made for us!

This has absolutely nothing to do with climate change which is something else entirely.

There is a reason our Creator separates these things into days, and great lessons begin as our Creator begins His teaching process.

*****Gen 1:9  And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

Gen 1:10  And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

We know that after the farmer has planted the seed there is a great need for water.

He may not understand all these things, but he knows since the beginning of time, that once the soil has been prepared and the seed planted then it is up to rains and water sources to cause the seeds to germinate.

Notice how our Creator has had the soil under water and now causes it to come into place.

Humans need a place to live.

Humans need a place to grow food.

Humans need a moderate environment.

Gen 9:20  And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:

Humans need variety and beauty to behold.

It is the soil, the Earth, that we find the elements of human life.

Gen 2:7  And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Humans need to witness the glory of God in our creation, to know that we are not alone, and not some accident.

Gen 2:8  And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

Gen 2:9  And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Isa 40:22  It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

The dry land is called Earth!

Psa 136:6  To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.

At this time all the continents that we know of today were all joined together into one plot of land.

The Bible states this as a fact thousands of years ago and most all scientist agree on this thing today, even though it is not important that they do this.

They do not agree on much of the Word of God which is the basis of all science that deals with facts. Science is to be based on facts!

All the Seas were touching one another just as they do today but at this day in our history all those Seas were fresh water and they remained that way until after the flood of Noah's day.

Psa 24:1 The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

Psa 24:2  For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

There were no storms and no rains, this soil had its own irrigation system.

Gen_2:6  But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

This was another of the good things in the eyes and thoughts of our Creator.

The soil was now prepared to produce fruit, but God did not plant seeds.

The plant, whatever kind, had to come first to produce the seed! This should answer that age-old question. Which came first the chicken, or the egg.

Obviously, God created the chicken first.

God planted the tree that would produce that seed.

God planted that grain that would produce that seed.

*****Gen 1:11  And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

Gen 1:12  And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Gen 1:13  And the evening and the morning were the third day.

You see Elohim is the God of "Life"!

Joh 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and "the life": no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Mat 22:32  I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? "God is not the God of the dead, but of the living".

Again we see that God speaks and things happen, just as the Lord intended it to happen.

The earth was created to be a habitation for people and the animals, but along with this the earth had to produce a food source, a housing source, a medicinal source, and all the other needs of humanity.

Elohim would be the Spiritual source so that all needs could be met!

Elohim did not just call on food and resources for those immediate humans as Adam and Eve, but He created a continuous supply of those resources if man would do his part after the curse.

Before the curse, which will come later after sin, humans need only to reap the harvest and tend the garden.

God said this was a good day!

*****Gen 1:14  And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Gen 1:15  And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

Remember on the first day God created Light. On this fourth day God created the source of all those different lights.

We know that a light beam travels a distance at a precise rate without outside influences. In fact in our galaxies they are measured according to how far that light can travel in a year or "Light-years".

The light from our Sun reaches earth in just over one day. The light from the Moon a great deal quicker because of its closeness.

There are stars that God created on this fourth day that their light has not made it to the Earth as of yet.

Our heavens are constantly changing and believe it or not, if our world were billions of years old, the scientist would not still be finding new stars or new solar systems, simply because light travels at a constant speed in pure space. There are some things that can distort light!

It has nothing to do with technology it only has to do with the distance that the "light" has to travel!

The light from the distant planets are reflected light from our Sun, just as the light of our Moon is reflected light from our Sun.

We should be praising Elohim because He placed our Earth exactly ninety-three million miles from our Sun. Much closer and we would burn up. Much farther away and we would freeze to death.

Earth was created for humans and there is, absolutely no other beings in this universe.

The only aliens that exist are those whose Father is Elohim because their names are written down in the Lamb's Book of Life!

Heb 11:13  These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

Heb 11:14  For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

Heb 11:15  And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

Heb 11:16  But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

God now provides that moderate temperature for all humans.

*****Gen 1:16  And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

Gen 1:17  And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

Gen 1:18  And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

Gen 1:19  And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Our "sun", as a permanent source of necessary light as long as this world last, and the moon, stars, and planets are in place to show the glory of our Heavenly Father.

The sun is near the center of the entire universe, just as earth is at the center of God's attention.

At just the right distance, the sun provides energy and warmth in precise amounts. If the sun were any closer, we would burn in unlivable heat; any farther, and we would be locked in ice.

The moon's gravity causes the tides to continually circulate and freshen the oceans, without which life would not flourish as it does.

The larger planets guard earth from incoming solar bodies. The heavenly bodies were also given for timekeeping and regulation of life.

Our rotating earth and galaxies give us signs!

The planet earth spins on a tilt. It is probably the only planet in existence that does so.

It is this tilt of the earth that gives us our four seasons!

When the northern hemisphere is tilted towards the Sun, that's summer, and when it is tilted away from the Sun, that's winter for the Northern Hemisphere.

The Northern Hemisphere is the half of Earth that is north of the Equator. For other planets in the Solar System, north is defined as being in the same celestial hemisphere relative to the invariable plane of the solar system as Earth's North Pole.

How does Earth's tilt affect climate change?

Gradual shifts in the Earth’s tilt can cause climate changes!

More tilt means more severe seasons, meaning that it is hotter in the summer and colder in the winter. Less tilt results in moderate seasons: warmer winters and cooler summers.

Sunspots also cause our climate to change!

You see these things could not have happened by accident, but by a Holy God in His creation of "Life"!

Every day has been a twenty-four day since the first day.

These are all gifts to mankind that could have come from no other source!

All these preparations were precisely made, and it was now time to bring forth the living creatures.

*****Gen 1:20  And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

Gen 1:21  And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Gen 1:22  And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

Gen 1:23  And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Without all the things that our Heavenly Father had put in place before this day, there would be no life on earth.

These things could not have taken place by some accident!

It takes a foolish person, who cannot see the precise plan put in place by our Supernatural Father in Heaven.

The key word in the passage is "living"!

God commanded these living creatures to produce, we could say reproduce and we see that they would produce after their kind.

There is no life through evolution.

Obviously, animals and all living creatures have to adapt to their surroundings, their environment, but this is not evolution where one living creature becomes another creature of a separate family or some separate "kind".

This day in the creation cycle God commanded living creatures to come about.

All life associated with water habitats had their beginning on this day.

Life did not have its beginning in some glob of protoplasm that evolved over millions of years.

And yes, water related dinosaurs came about this day.

It is true that every spoonful of water contains millions of microscopic creatures!

In that same voice, the microscopic creature and the great whales and seafaring dinosaurs all came to life!

As far as water born creatures, it is the great whales that give us an idea of the power of God in relation to a microscopic organism, that is also show God's creative power.

It is creation week, that should remind us that when Elohim speaks nothing is impossible for Him!

Mat_19:26  But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

We should never think otherwise!

Another day comes and goes and the gifts for mankind keep piling up.

*****Gen 1:24  And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

Gen 1:25  And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

As the waters brought forth water-based life, so the soil will now bring forth land-based life.

What we have seen is that Elohim, the Almighty Living God, has taken His creation and from that creation he has brought forth "life".

Animals were created from the resources of this earth, by God's command!

1) God does not tell us how these things came about only that He commands, and all His creation listens and performs.

The waters, the soil, the plants, the water-based animals, and now the land-based animals.

2) Scripture is very clear, God made all the animals from the earth! Any other man-made theory is wrong and can never be proven.

Theories are just that theories that have not or cannot be proven!

3) Scripture will be very clear, that our Creator has done all these things in preparation for His greatest creation which is man!

Notice again that the animals are made after their kind.

If any species could cross breed with any other species all these things would have failed into non-existence.

The same cow Adam saw is still a cow today.

The same horse that Adam saw is still a horse today and yes, a burro is still in the horse family.

All animals reproduce from their own kind.

You cannot take a cat and a dog and make something new!

There are no breeds caught in between to different species!

There is no Sasquatch, or Moth Man, or any other such thing!

Animal life did not just happen by some accident. If we look at all the so-called accidents of evolution, it is easily seen that they are impossible.

Elohim, God, tells us systematically what He did each day and the materials He used, and all these things can be proven, except for that part where God spoke these things into existence which we need to accept as the truth.

There is no other explanation that comes close to what God says took place!

There is no "by chance".

There is no "by random".

There is no "impersonal force or energy bringing basic cells and DNA together to form animal life". (This is impossible)

There is no "physical laws in existence, past or present that began animal life"!

Animal life was created by or Creator, just as He has said!

By the "power of His spoken Word, God caused all these things to happen.

It is not far-fetched it is just reality!

God does not do things halfway!

God is a God of order.

God is a God of progression. (This is not progressive)

God is a God of perfection!

God is still involved with all His creation even today!

God said these things are good things.

Not perfect, but good, in fact "very good".

God cause all the animals to populate this earth and yes, all the land dinosaurs were created on this same day!

God cause these things because all these animals would play some part in the food chain.

God cause these things because these animals would bring beauty to this earth.

God cause these things because many of these animals would be companions to mankind.

We should just try to imagine living on land and never see anything but other humans.

God created nature for us to enjoy His creation!

Psa 8:4  What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Psa 8:5  For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

Psa 8:6  Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

Psa 8:7  All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;

Psa 8:8  The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

Psa 8:9  O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

Without worrying about the climate, we should still take care of the things God created for our pleasure.

Elohim took great pleasure in making all these things for His greatest creation man!

Rev_4:11  Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Amen

The Truth is Still the Truth

 Behold, I Come Quickly

Book of Revelation Chapter 22

What should we understand about Chapter 22? We must first return to the first Chapter.

Rev 1:1  The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants "things which must shortly come to pass"; and he sent and signified it "by his angel" unto his servant John:

Rev 1:2  Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

This is exactly what the Apostle John has done. John has given to us the "testimony" of the Lord Jesus Christ.

John has given us the truth of the things that will take place just before the Lord returns to take His Church home, and then returns to the Mount of Olives to reclaim this world, and deprive Satan of the things he so greatly desires.

What are we to understand of the Book of Revelation? We are to understand that these words of John are all the exact and the complete truth from our Holy God!

Rev 1:3  Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Not just a bunch of symbols! Not parables! But the truth of God from an Apostle of Jesus Christ, describing things from the future which he had no idea could exist and become true.

John trusted the Lord Jesus and it is this same Lord Jesus whom we are also to trust!

*****Rev 22:6  And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

We must understand that all the Word of God is true, and this includes all the Book of Revelation!

2Ti 3:16  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2Ti 3:17  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

These things do not change when it gets tough to be a Christian!

If we do not wholly believe what the Lord Jesus says, then we are not Christian!

We do not have to discuss who wrote what, and who said what, in these Scriptures because Jehovah sent the Holy Spirit to oversee all the Word of God.

These things are faithful and true!

These things will shortly be done!

Remember we deal with Heavens timetable.

*****Rev 22:7  Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

You see, here lies the problem! "We must keep the sayings of the prophecy of this great Book of the Bible"!

We must keep the sayings, rightly divided, of all the Written Word of God.

As Christians, we have become lazy and relegated Jehovah as our great grandfather in the Heavens, and it is no wonder that He has removed His hand of blessing from America.

Jesus Christ is our God!

Jesus Christ is our Savior!

Jesus Christ is our Judge!

Nowhere do we see that our Lord is our grandfather!

If not for His great love, we would all be in a devil's hell right now!

We had better pay attention to that word "Behold" which means we had better open our eyes to the truth of the Bible.

When the Lord has had enough of our playing church, we had better believe He will come quickly!

If we are to have a revival, then we had better get started.

If we are going to remain that sad bunch of "so-called" Christians, then we just keep doing what we are doing and not worry about the world we are leaving behind for our grandchildren.

The Lord has placed these things in our hand, and He is watching and waiting to see what we are going to do.

Why in the world do you believe there will be a "Judgment Seat" of Christ, if He will not JUDGE our actions today?

We must not ever get confused about who is our God!

*****Rev 22:8  And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.

Rev 22:9  Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

You see this was not an angel at this certain time who faced John. This was a saint of God who had a glorified body in Heaven. This was a "Born Again" child of God who was giving the Apostle John this part of the Scriptures.

Heaven will be a wonderful place, because we have a Savior who loved us so much, who came and died for us that we might be saved!

Most all of us have loved ones in Heaven. In the time of John, this Saint said, "I am your fellow servant". "I am of your brothers the prophets" and most important of all, he said "I am one of them which keep the sayings of this Book".

We must ask ourselves, "are we of those who keep the sayings of this Book"?

We should not have to hesitate. It is a yes or no answer!

None of us are perfect and we know that, but we certainly are not doing the best we can to obey the Word of God, or our nation would not be in the terrible shape that it is today.

We are weak spiritually!

We are weak morally!

Our nation has become so weak every foolish nation in the world can stand up and slander us without even worrying about retaliation and laugh and mock us.

These things happen because we have left our God out of our lives!

We will bow down to anything that resembles the truth when the truth of God is given to us to keep and not to ignore.

Are we going to pick up our cross and follow the Lord or not?

Mat_16:24  Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Mar_8:34  And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Mar_10:21  Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

Luk_9:23  And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

As we can see, this is a yes or no answer type question!

We may not have much time left to follow the Lord, and it begins with denying ourselves, our wants, our ways, and seeking the ways of Jesus Christ!

*****Rev 22:10  And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

You see it was not time for John to write these things down and just place that book on a shelf!

It was time to tell someone else the truth of the Living God.

At this point and on through the future, we are not to seal up any part of the Word of God.

It must be preached!

It must be taught!

It must be expounded!

It must be read!

It must be understood as the truth of God because it is!

When we become ashamed of God, He has already said He will be ashamed of us!

There is only one detail in the Book of Revelation that God keeps to Himself.

Rev 10:4  And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

There are somethings during the time of God's wrath that we just do not need to know.

1) Because they are so terrible that we just do not need to know them.

Remember the blood will flow four to five feet deep for over 100 miles for the Lord to cleanse this earth of evil.

2) God does not want these things to have their mark upon our minds. As God told Moses only those who have been "Born Again" can look upon His glory and live and we need to concentrate on the "Glory" of God!

We must admit that all the things of Prophecy have fallen in place just as they have been written, and we would be extremely foolish to not believe that we are in those very last of the last of days!

The only thing that remains is for those last few to choose life rather than death and those few remnants of prophecy to be fulfilled.

*****Rev 22:11  He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

So upon whom are we as the Church to concentrate the resources of the Church?

1) Not those who are unjust!

The unjust are all those who walk contrary to the truth of God and who stand against the truth of God.

It is most of these who seek to change all laws that disagree with their formula of life.

They are seeking death and the Holy Spirit just says leave them alone to travel down that path of death.

They are contrary to all things that are right!

They have already been included in the "woes" of God!

Isa 5:20  Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Isa 5:21  Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

Isa 5:22  Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

Isa 5:23  Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

Isa 5:24  Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

3 Jn 1:11  Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

It is not time to worry about the salvation of these people!

2) Not those who are filthy.

Filthy means: dirty, foul, unclean, nasty, polluted, defiled by sinful practices, morally impure. Those who procure by filthy lucre. (dishonest means)

Time is too short for these to ever change their ways!

3) Those that are righteous will remain righteous. We cannot lose the gifts that the Lord died for!

Rom 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

4) Those that are Holy will remain Holy!

Eph 1:13  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Eph 1:14  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Where should the resources of the Church be applied? To those who have never heard the Word of God.

Those who already know the truth of God should gather more often as these times get closer and closer!

Heb 10:22  Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

We must understand that we are near the Coming of the Lord and when the Lord steps out of Heaven, it will be only a short time until He places His feet upon the Mount of Olives.

The Lord will certainly come quickly but He will travel slow enough to be noticed! Every eye will see Him even those who pierced Him!

*****Rev 22:12  And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Rev 22:13  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

We should be very clear, these are the words spoken by the Lord Jesus Christ!

The Lord Jesus does not ever change!

Isa 40:10  Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

We already know that there is no one able to stand before the Lord unless He has accepted their call for forgiveness, have repented from their evil ways, and has written their name written down in the Lamb's Book of Life.

This message is written to every human, alive or in the grave!

Rom 2:6  Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

Those deeds are the things done that have not been forgiven by those who have not asked and by those who were not sincere.

Our Lord God will never penalize anyone for doing things that are good, if they are done for the right reasons.

The pure fact is we seldom ever do anything if there is nothing in it for us, which means it was for the wrong reason.

We should have only one reason and that reason is because we want to be found in obedience to the Word of God!

There is no reason greater than this!

Ecc 12:13  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Ecc 12:14  For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

The Lord Jesus Christ died in payment for our sins because we were sentenced to death!

Rom 3:23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Rom 3:24  Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

If we do not recognize this truth, and trust the Word of God to be true, then we will suffer for all our deeds from the time of our birth until the day of our death!

Just so we know, the Lord wants us to know it is our Creator that developed this plan of salvation and this reward for our deeds!

**The Alpha:

The first letter of the Greek alphabet denoting our Creator.

When used as a number, it denotes the number One.

**The Omega:

The name of the last letter of the Greek alphabet denoting our Living God, who has no beginning and has no ending.

He exists from everlasting to everlasting and this is the same place he promises to those who love Him!

Isa 44:6  Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Isa 44:7  And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.

Isa 44:8  Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.

When the everlasting God says there is no God besides Himself, then there is none which makes it real that we have only one way to enter into that realm of everlasting life!

Joh 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Joh 14:7  If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

There are no blessings for those who oppose the Word of God!

*****Rev 22:14  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Rev 22:15  For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

That word blessed may mean many things to many people, but here it means only those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life can be called "Blessed"!

There is no one upon the face of this earth that can give me this title except, the Lord Jesus Christ!

I am "Blessed" because my "Faith" is in the works the Lord Jesus Christ did, to make me "Blessed"!

In other words I am "blessed" because I have been washed in the "Blood of Jesus" and it is His sin cleansing blood that has made me whole!

It is not in the keeping of commandments, it is in the doing of the commandments, which means we understand that we must be "Born Again" according as the Lord Jesus Christ states.

Joh 3:3  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Jesus told Nicodemus listen to the words that come out of my mouth.

Joh 3:6  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

We must be baptized with the Holy Spirit of God. This is the same as being washed in the Blood of Jesus.

The Holy Spirit will not live in anyone who is not washed in the Blood of Jesus!

Joh 3:15  That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Joh 3:19  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Joh 3:20  For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Joh 3:21  But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

This is the "Commandment" that causes blessedness "whosoever believeth in Him (Jesus) should not perish, but have everlasting life!

The keeping of the Ten Commandments will not get you to Heaven, this would be a works doctrine and the Lord Jesus Christ has done all the works.

A blessed one need only have "faith" in the work of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Who are those who got left out because they had no "faith" in the work of Jesus Christ?

Obviously, this word "dogs" does not mean domesticated dogs that are all over the world.

But take the time to see a pack of wild dogs at work. We can better understand this thing as the world!

**The world of the lost are like a pack of wild dogs!

Who are those dogs?

Those who are unjust, spiritually!

Those who filthy, spiritually!

Those who are degraded!

Those who have no value in the eyes of a Righteous God.

Rev 21:7  He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Rev 21:8  But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Spiritually wicked people who will never get another opportunity to enter into God's New Heaven, and they do not care while they are alive, but that will change immediately when they wake up in Hell.

Luk 16:22  And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

Luk 16:23  And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Luk 16:24  And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Luk 16:25  But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

Luk 16:26  And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Luk 16:27  Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

Luk 16:28  For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Luk 16:29  Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

Luk 16:30  And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

Luk 16:31  And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Then these words from our Savior.

*****Rev 22:16  I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

What is the reality of the Book of Revelation? It is the testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ for the days we are living right now!

We should understand that angels can appear in most any form and those angels that are closest to the Lord Jesus Christ can appear in His form just as well as they can appear in our form.

This not deception, it is just who they are!

Those who have left this world and are in Heaven can also give that same appearance even though when we see them, we will know them.

Just as Peter recognized Moses and Elijah.

The one most important thing we need to remember is that it was Jesus who caused the revealing of all these things.

This is the Book of the Reveling of Jesus Christ and not about John the revelator!

Rev 5:3  And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

Rev 5:4  And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

Rev 5:5  And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

He will be King Jesus on earth because He is the last living relative of His day in the kingly line of David and He will never die.

Israel still flies the "Star of David"!

Jesus Christ is that Star!

Num 24:17  I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: "there shall come a Star out of Jacob", and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.

We should think like Job.

Job 19:25  For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

Job 19:26  And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

Job 19:27  Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

The Holy Spirit who has made sure that we can have the truth of God now adds a few more words.

*****Rev 22:17  And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Rev 22:18  For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

Rev 22:19  And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Most all the Word of God is plain enough to understand if we just have "faith" and just understand it as it is written.

There are places that we need some help with, and the Holy Spirit will provide that help through Holy Ghost filled preachers, Sunday School, and just by Him guiding us as we read the Bible.

These words in this passage are very easily understand.

The Lord Jesus, by the Holy Spirit is the only authority of the written Word of God, and no perceived power upon this earth has the authority to change what the Holy Spirit has preserved for us.

If you go to a place of worship what changes any part of the Word of God, I suggest you leave and find a place where the truth is preached and is known!

2Ti 3:16  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2Ti 3:17  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

We cannot be furnished to step out into the world with God's Message unless we have God's Holy Ghost Inspired Words within us!

Again whose testimony is this?

*****Rev 22:20  He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Rev 22:21  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

It is "Grace" that keeps the Lord from coming, but we must be aware the Lord could step out of Heaven at any moment and in a moment in time we could hear the sound of the trumpet and things will begin to be set in motion.

1Th 4:16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1Th 4:17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1Th 4:18  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Immediately after the Church has been called out the Tribulation, then these things will begin, and these seven years will be far worse than we can even imagine.

The Lord will return and there will be no "Grace", there will be no "Mercy", there will only be "WRATH"!

Amen
